well anywayz i'm from the states and like mark ronson's music (obviously i haven't been affected by the status of "over played", cause many in the US don't even know who he is) all US ever saw of him was STOP ME, a mild dance hit.

 

i wanted to ask u all for info on his actual productivity in the UK

I know that his album, "Version" is selling really well, but how much has he actually sold?

 

"Valerie" ft. Winehouse is a pretty damn good song which will unfortunately not be released here....imo

Welcome to the forum :D I know his latest single has sold massively, but I don't know the specifics. I'm sure someone will be along shortly! ^_^
'Valerie' won't be released in the US? You lucky buggers :P I'm waiting for that tripe to leave the UK charts-its still top 20 :puke2: Its sold about 366k over here which is still beyond me.

Mark Ronson is a music producer, born in London but grew up in New York from the age of eight and is based in America, his 'actual productivity' in the UK, has seen him produce an album of cover versions, hence the title of his album 'Version' which were all previously recorded mostly by British artists. It's sold 520,000+ so far.

Were you not lucky enough to the original version of VALERIE, by the Zutons over there? Now that was much better than Ronson`s! Kaiser Chiefs, did a better version of Oh My God too, of course!
