Forbes.com said it compiled the list by examining concert grosses, merchandising revenue, album sales and other revenue from clothing lines, fragrance deals and endorsements. Shakira earned $38 million, fueled by her Oral Fixation tour — 111 concerts total — that took her swirling hips across the globe. February 2, 200817 yr Yes it was just for 2007, her last album was out in 2006 aswel, so just think how much shakira must actually be worth ^_^
February 3, 200817 yr It's strange Shakira hasn't been on these lists before. I think she keeps things pretty well under wraps in terms of money. I reckon she must've made more in 2006 because she had massive album sales and a tour. It guess she's made the list for 2007 because all the info for how much you make from a tour is readily available, you've just got to do the maths.
February 4, 200817 yr She would of earnt most of her money from 2006 in 2007 :P because you don't recieve all your royalties right away ;) Everyone else needs to be paid before you get your money so I think that sum includes 2006 aswell ;)
