February 3, 200818 yr Author There is a difference between "reaching the top10" and spending 7 weeks in the top10!! Call The Shots IS a big success, and this is not because its a Girls Aloud song, but simply because people love it :P I agree that a core fanbase will only take you so far, and after that its the broader success of a song that counts!
February 3, 200818 yr Author Anyone else getting a bit bored of 'Valerie'? I'm at the stage now of neither liking or disliking it
February 3, 200818 yr Anyone else getting a bit bored of 'Valerie'? Yup. I'm suprised how well it did. But I guess if Amy is in the papers tomorrow it will go up 5 places next Sunday. Edited February 3, 200818 yr by La La Land

February 3, 200818 yr Author :o Two songs that have got to #2 in a row and both over 15 weeks on the chart!
February 3, 200818 yr Author The Zutons must be pretty p!ssed off though. Or pleased with the money they are getting from royalties
February 3, 200818 yr ARRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH Take That!!! I've never liked them, even when Robbie was in the band years ago I couldn't stand them. Also I don't like that song.
February 3, 200818 yr I always despised the Zutons original of 'Valerie', I think the Ronson/Housewine cover of it is refreshingly good... but it has been a tad overplayed. :(
February 3, 200818 yr The Zutons must be pretty p!ssed off though. Haha! Yeah they must be! But i didnt like the Zutons version! lol
February 3, 200818 yr The Zutons must be pretty p!ssed off though. It was a hit with The Zutons but it wasn't as overrated as Amy's version. Anyway I bet they're lovin it that it's doing so well as they wrote it!
