Martin - is there a music dvd chart link here - or do we just have to wait for the radio 1 dvd chart to be updated tomorrow? You know what I'm after I assume!

By the way - I don't know how you get your head round all those rules. You're a better man than I am!

That's debatable, last week it was a double A-side this week FITS have been taken off, so Better In Time charted separate, so it could be a new entry. To be honest all these chart rules are doing my head in, as I don't know what's what no more.

How odd! Confusing lol.

I'm still confused by why the normal and deluxe versions of Back To Black are seperated

Yeah but why? I've never seen it for any other deluxe editons before

it is because of the ammount of new songs that have been added

Poor Janet, the album is really good, but feedback hasn't been popular in the UK.

The original 'Back To Black' Album has 11 Tracks.

The 'Deluxe' version adds a 2nd CD, which has 8 Tracks.

However, only 2 of the Tracks on the 2nd CD are Alternative

Versions of Tracks on the Original CD. The other 6 Tracks are

completely new.

For the 'Deluxe' version to have its Sales added to the Original

version, the 2nd CD would have to have about 6 of its 8 Songs on

the Original CD - 2 is not enough.

Chart Rules say, that a 'New' version of an Album can only have

its Sales added to the Original version if any Tracks on an added CD

are at least 80% the SAME SONGS as on the Original CD. It is OK if the

added Tracks are Remixes, 'Live' Tracks, Alternative versions, or even

Re-recordings, as long as at least 80% of them are the same Songs as

are on the Original Album.

With only 2 of the 8 added Tracks being the same Songs as on the Original

'Back In Black', the 'Deluxe' version simply is not allowed to be counted as

the same Album as the Original - which is why they have to Chart separately.

As a contrast, the 2008 version of 'Thriller', by Michael Jackson, can have its

Sales added to the Original Album, as most of the added Tracks, are different

versions of Songs from the Original release.....Only 1 or 2 songs are 'New'.

UGH! I know Declinea$h!thouse would catch Goldfrapp in the end.

Vile troll like whore.

Why couldnt they just wait until she had some more material and add it to a newer album??

Goldfrapp were cheated out of it and I hope Duffy knocks her off next week!

Singles

49 R 15 Mark Ronson feat. Daniel Merriweather Stop Me

This was at 51 last week, so how can it be a re-entry this week (I mean into the chart altogether, not the Top 50)?

Flipping hell have you read the sales for Take Thats DVDs??

Heres what i got off BBC Teletext...

"Take Thats Beautiful World Live DVD has become the fastest selling music DVD in UK history, according to their record company Polydor.

The recording of the groups European Tour went straight to number 1 in the UK music DVD charts after shifting more than 64,000 ( :o )copies in one week.

Celine Dion's Live in Las Vegas was second, selling 1,600 copies.

Take Thats DVD also outsold the number 1 album this week, Amy Winehouse's Back to Black.

Flipping hell! Theres a 62,000+ between Take Thats DVD and 2nd place Celine! :o Well i suppose thats from the Brit Award lol"

Goldfrapp were cheated out of it and I hope Duffy knocks her off next week!

I don't think Goldfrapp were cheated out of the number 1 slot, they didn't sell anything like enough copies. If the 2 versions of Back to Black were combined it would have been number 1 for the last 3 weeks.

Duffy will definitely be number 1 this week as she is outselling the number 2 by 6:1 according to the Sunday chart thread.
