It isn't coz Tony (Well the actor who plays him) will be in 'The Royal' soon :magic: I think it's just to shake of the Bad reputation that 'Tony' gave him. Wasn't he getting alot of abuse for playing him?
...tonight's Eastenders was nothing short of incredible.

I used to love EE, but with it being on so often, I think the quality's gone down the pan - too many paper-thin storylines and too much wishy-washy acting.

But... tonight's episode was magnificent - superbly acted (especially Patsy Palmer who could act most Hollywood actresses off the screen when she's like she was tonight), superbly set, and expertly scripted.... I really liked how it didn't go the easy route, with Tony being labelled just another paedophile with a victim - it actually showed the other side - where the young girl involved tried sticking up for him and defending his actions. Which you rarely, if ever, see on television.

Tonight's episode definitely ranks up there with the best EE of all time - phenomenal. Patsy Palmer deserves every award going for tonight - she was brilliant.

absolute full agreement on this, it was one of the best ever episodes and the storyline has been so far handled BRILLIANTLY! everything about it was good.

did anyone else notice that the picture of a 12 year old whitney looked uncannily like lauren? ...

i hope the storyline isnt over yet... its disturbing, but enthralling.

Can't wait for next week an old character comes back :cheer: :o

last nights ep started to revert to bull$h!t... the vigilantes blaming the youth club... eh? yeah... real <_< but bianca was good again :)

LMAO the vigilante actions was unbelievably funny, especially phil :heehee: and the guy "beating lucas up".. you could SEE he wasnt even touching him LOL
I saw in the paper something about Patsy Palmer being amazing this week and thought 'surely not!' - reading this I am going to watch Tuesday's episode, even though I barely watch this anymore!
Yeah those scenes with Lucas getting beaten up were hilarity defined! Ridiculous! Better episode again tonight. LOVE Denise.

I agree it maybe wasn't executed terribly well... Ian Beale leading a vigilante group? Right. And then being put off just because of Denise's speech, however much sense she spoke. And the Lucas fight scene was laughable.

However I think the idea behind it was a realistic one, displaying the usual illogical public hysteria that can erupt on these sorts of matters, usually inspired by the Sun and News of the World.

And she's jewish as a Bacon sarnie   LMAO
