I just bought her EP :P

She reminds me of Gwen Stefani a bit, which is a good thing:p

Brilliant buy - hope you like it as much as I do ^_^

'White' as well as 'Ice' is a truely brilliant track

And so Lights finished 6th :D maybe not quite the dizzying heights I had hoped for but still an absolutely phenominal place to finish which such HUGE competition!

The Good Natured for BJSC XIV

The Kingdom of Shadow would like to introduce the simply breathtaking 'Good Natured', an electropop artist who's just 17 but is making phenominal music. We're not targetting a win this month, not even a top ten, we just wat to get to the final to introduce people to this brilliant girl. I've uploaded a few of her tracks for you to have a listen to, we'll most likely enter 'How Can I Believe In You?' but there's ages before that's gonna be finalised. Pay attention becuase I plan to hype this girl more than you could possibly imagine in the build up to XIV

Quick preview of 6 of her tracks:

My current chart no.1

and out int he semis she must go, ee aye, ee aye, ee aye... oh :o

Janet Leon Returns to Kingdom of Shadow

Having spent a lot of time touring the BuzzJack world, Janet Leon has finally came back to the Great Kingdom for what may be her last performance as a contestant in BJSC XV. With just hours before the results of the semi-finals are announced Miss Leon wanted to thank Shadowan fans to supporting her even though the Daily Filth have been running a campaign to out her from the contest. Coming under pressure from those who doubt her originality, Leon had this to say; "I may not sound as alternative as The Good Natured and 'Breakaway' may not be as addictive as Will Remember Me Tomorrow?' but I've never attempted to say I am or it is. I'm a pop artist interested in making song that the citizens of BuzzJack can bop their feet to and maybe sing-a-long to a little bit to, so I'm gonna give it one last shot."

The Shadowan entrant went on to perform 'Heartbreak On The Dancefloor', 'Let Go' and her BJSC XV single 'Breakaway' to an appreciative Shadowan crowd.

Following the performance, the King of Shadow stated he felt the Kingdom of Shadow did 'pop' very well, as shown by Lady Bitch Berger in IX and Belinda in XII and now Janet Leon in XV. However, he also promised to boost the Great Kingdom's image as an innovative nation by introducing a new artist to the BJSC as they did with Florence and the Machine, The Good Natured and the possible XIV entry Antigone.

Rivandia would like to thank Kingdom of Shadow and all its people for it's warm reception to their latest song, 'Solo'. We would like to wish KoS and Janet Leon all the best for the forthcoming contest. :D

Maggie...underwheming? :heehee:

great video, really enjoyed watching that :D you've had some fantastic entries! WYRMT and Ice really stand out for me still  Shame Lights could only finish 6th but I guess M.A.G.I.C. was a bit underrated in the odds...still, it deserved 3rd!

your reaction to your two DNQ's is similar to mine; you thought Heartbreak was a winner, I thought Headhunted was one...and they both did miserably then finished top 3 in the rejects (yes I know you one :P) and then you weren't that bothered that The Good Natured DNQ'd because you still love the song, same with me and Miss Blue...I was used to the feeling of rejection by the second DNQ in three contests :heehee:

I would have liked an extra bit of text on Rosanna though; 'Permission granted and 'Gameboy' saw the Great Kingdom's return to the top ten, leaving Kopecka crying in the corner after a disastrous DNQ and feelings of regret forever more' :kink:

oh and I'm sure you already know but before I forget to tell you, Lights has a new leaked song called Saviour;

surprised nobody has picked it up for XIX!

I was wondering if Mutyagate would get a mention.

Strung Out is the best Mutya track sent to date imo. I include PTB in that.

Cheers Rich, I don't like to rub it in that I took Gameboy whilst Kopecka flopped, seeing as I didn't find the son it's best to keep hush and remain thankful ^_^

New Lights is beautiful as ever, I thought it'd be pushing my luck to send her again plus I think slow songs tend not to do as well in BJSC so I'll wait for the album (in September!!!!!!) before thinking of sending her again :P

As long as you love the song that DNQs as you say I don't think it really matters, I'd rate TGN as one of my favorite entries and am glad I introduced her to one or two people on here who liked her enough to give her 10s and 12s in the semi.

@Phil - How could we not mention it!? Mutyagate was even more prominent seeing as we've always loved the Ashtonise entries. Yeh a simply beautiful song but as i say I don't think BJSC is very ballad friendly.

BJSC is highly anti ballad. it sucks ass.

I think MutMut was KoS second 8 from us.

At least international relations were resolved quickly

yeah and you still got 5 from us so it wasn't a big falling out  I couldn't bare not being able to vote for the dictatorship

Ah yes, Cilmi. There was almost a fight over her too

We are still the only dictatorship in the competition

Recently we've become rather fond of the Great Kingdom.

We won't mention Cilmi :P

and only recently? :o

Well i say recently, but i'm guessing coz i need to do my voting history but you've had quite a run of consecutive points i think.

Cilmi suffered the same curse as the Babes, 3rd time DNQ.

I am not sending Lily or RBW again

You know, I think Kingdom of shadow should have let their artists tour in Greenfroze sometime :cheer:

Seeing as we are your neighbouring country and all  -_-

You have toured in so many of the other countries with 'radio', but you never once visited us :(

:P

Aww sorry mate!

We figured that seeing as we are so close all of your peoples could just hop over the border and see some of our home concerts (they're certainly very welcome to) but we'll make sure you feature on our next tour ;-)
