wait is there actually a ghost writer or are you just taking the piss?

Well, we already know that she used a ghostwriter for If Only. We'll have to wait and see who is listed in the credits when the book is published.

Every single one of the girls used a ghost-writer for their autobiography, as has pretty much every celebrity who has ever released a book in history. She did not however have a ghostwriter for the Ugenia Lavender series and I highly doubt she would for this either. She isn't Katie Price.

Yeah everyone knows about her autobiographies being ghost-written, but unless it is stated in the books themselves, I'd be very surprised if this is the truth when it comes to these new books..
To be quite honest, by the summary it sounds a bit like a mess so I'm pretty willing to believe Gerita did write it all by herself. If Tyra Banks can do it, Geri can.

I've just had a look in my If Only copy, and I don't see Moehringer credited anywhere, so ghostwriters are not always credited.

Ghost writers are only credited with non-fiction works... although you will find thrm referencing who they worked for on linkedin etc, but never what they actually wrote.

Queen Camilla Geri doing something we should all be proud of (regardless of the ties with the Monarchy). This is the Geri we need.

(I really, really, really don’t see any other Spice stuff happening after this)

I've said it a hundred times, but 1.) I don't understand why she has tuened her back on SG again? 2.) It seems like at least some of them are EMBARRASSED of being Spice Girls. V confusing.

I don’t think she’s embarrassed. She just knows she needs to act a certain way to be fully accepted in certain “places”. Geri is smart, she calculates everything. I poked fun at her wearing white, then it all made sense. The girl always have a plan!

This.

And no, doing other things does not mean she's "turned her back on Spice Girls". People need to stop being overdramatic.

If her insta is anything to go by her fans have absolutely no interest in the book she is releasing. The post of the front cover has less than 2k likes (from over 1.3m followers) and after a quick scan every other post of hers has at least 5k likes.

I cant see this release being anything other than a disaster.

That’s why. I don’t think this book will be her “comeback”. I think she’s looking somewhere else, something related to Royals charities or even politics. She wants to be taken seriously, and the white dress uniform is part of that. It’s a complete erasure of Ginger Spice and Geri to welcome a new persona. If she’s happy, we’re all happy.

I really don't think anyone outside of Geri herself expects this book to be a smash hit lol

With that said - if it does sell, it'll blatantly not be to the Spice Girls fanbase of gay men and middle aged women, it'll somehow miraculously have to appeal to girls / young women. And yeah, that'll be a struggle.

I am a middle aged woman inside a body of a gay person. I’ll buy two copies.

Geri has been an influence since I was a kid so I'm happy if she is happy I think all fans feel that.

Writing has always seemed her natural path after the SG as she has shown such love for it. I hope this book really surprises people.

Similar to what you were saying, away from that I personally find it all disingenuous, she seems to wanna fit in with a social scene she was not born into unlike her husband, so we get the white conservative clothes, the cliché housewife behaviour, the posh voice etc. On the 2019 tour I bloody loved Mel B interacting with her as she seemed to bring out the old Geri.

I do think if they do a final tour next year she'd do it if it was guaranteed to be the absolute last time, she and Victoria are done with it.
