First things first, Who are Zero 7?? (Probably why they didnt get through coz people dont know who they are or have forgotten how their song goes)

And secondly, If you mean Why has Stronger made Top 6 and Not in the Top 3 - I would say I know! :o

but if you meant it as it shouldnt be in the Top 6... Its one of her best singles! I LOVE it and should have made it through over Nelly Furtado - Im Like A Bird! IMO

Hence why I said I knew they wouldn't get through. Zero 7 are a chillout duo, they're an album act though really. Their last two albums both went top 5 (most recent one was The Garden in 2006), but they've only had one top 40 single so far (Destiny).

And yes I'm saying Stronger in the top 6 is bizarre. "I'm Like A Bird"; whilst I'm no fan, deserves it's place ahead of Stronger, it was a more successful track, and was the track that broke Furtado as a worldwide act.

Stronger was simply a run-of-the-mill Britney track that sounded the same as her previous releases (Baby One More Time, Oops I Did It Again, Crazy). It's not one of her most popular singles, and I honestly do not believe it is one of the 6 most popular tracks of 2001. It got through simply through Buzzjack's bias towards her.

So its got nothing to do with fans being fans and voting for the songs they like??

Zero 7 are amazing - it is such a shame they are forgotten.

Simple Things is just a superb album.

Ahh Stronger, just the song that always takes me right back to 2001...:P

I thought it came out (and peaked in) 2000 anyway?

You're right :o

This is the chart info from polyhex:

16/12/2000 Britney Spears Stronger 7 {7}-11-14-10-14-26-38-48-57-62->10

I wonder if anything will be done about it.

Great to see the Goldfrapp fans here voting in their thousands for possibly their finest single in this one...ahem

And blindly loving any song released as long as it's Britney?

I guess we can just be thankful that Don't Let Me Be The Last To Know or I Love Rock & Roll weren't up for the vote

I Love Rock & Roll was one of my favourites from her.

I don't think people blindly vote for Britney because she's Britney. If they were her songs would win, like 'Baby One More Time' did for 1999. 'I'm A Slave 4 U' didn't get through, so at least that's a plus. (even though I prefer it to 'Stronger')

Buzzjack is skewed towards liking female artists at the moment, so I think it's just a bit redundant to moan whenever Britney and Christina make it through and forgotten, less successful songs don't. I didn't recognise the Zero 7 song until I just looked it up on Youtube. It's quite good, I still wouldn't have placed it in my top 20 though. The song didn't reach the top 10 or anything, so it's quite difficult for me to remember a song from seven years ago that only reached a low peak. It would be like asking someone who is 11 now to remember "Long Road To Ruin" by the Foo Fighters 7 years later. Never mind 7 years, I've forgotten how it goes already and it was only in the top 40 December last year.
