April 15, 200817 yr Chasing Cars looks like it has this one in the bag. If that is so, FINALLY a non-female winner.
April 15, 200817 yr Author If that is so, FINALLY a non-female winner. Without giving too much away it is currently over 100 points behind the leading song, so I think not.....
April 15, 200817 yr If that is so, FINALLY a non-female winner. I wouldn't mind a non-female winner if it was something I at least liked. I didn't mind 'Chasing Cars' at first but it's so overrated and overplayed that my opinion of it is tainted.
April 16, 200817 yr Without giving too much away it is currently over 100 points behind the leading song, so I think not..... :( My guess is Maneater or Rehab then.

April 20, 200817 yr Something Kinda Oooh over Rehab? :manson: I think that the results are ok, except I think 'Who Knew' and 'Hips Don't Lie' are probably more representative than the SKO, Red Dress and All Good Things.
April 20, 200817 yr Maneater #1   Sugababes with one of their weakest singles top 5  Rediculous... If this was the best to come out of 2006 I wouldn't listen to music. Fortunately, song's like #48 and #15 came out that year. Hwever they seem to be really underrated on this forum. Edited April 20, 200817 yr by NoiseAddict

(I think now that I've finished the Record of the Year Game's (bar the final two weeks of the Decade play-off & Final 50) I can express my opinion on them:) I totally agree. No disrespect to the acts in question or the people who voted for them, but I think it is a bit of a farce that out of the final 80 songs there are 9 by the Sugababes, 8 by Britney Spears & 6 by Girls Aloud. Are those 3 acts really responsible for over a quarter of the best songs in the last decade? I don't think so. Don't get me wrong tracks like Baby One More Time, Toxic, Sound of the Underground, Biology, Push The Button & Freak Like Me deserve to be there amongst the best 80 songs of the last decade. But are the likes of (You Drive Me) Crazy, Born To Make You Happy, No Good Advice, Call The Shots, Red Dress & Stronger x2 really amongst the best 80 tracks of the last decade? Take 2006, I find it shocking & embarrassing that Take That's Patience only finished 40th as that song is & will be an all-time classic. Whilst Will Young's All Time Love should have finished far higher than 43rd.
April 20, 200817 yr Great to see Maneater and Somrthing Kinda Ooh in the top 3. Woudnt have put Rehab there though. SOS should be a lot higher and Chasing Cars should be a lot lower, its horrendus lol. Whole Lotta History should also be a lot higher.

I certainly thought Patience would finish off higher in the 2006 chart than RTW did in the 2007 chart - although seriously - neither were going to end up in the top 20 in a Buzzjack poll were they? April 20, 200817 yr Hmm I quite like the top few, glad 'SexyBack' has made it. :D Shame 'Promiscuous' couldn't be in the top few though... better than the other two Furtado tracks there imo. :(
