April 15, 200817 yr i'm really shocked with goldfrapp there top 20 and they were 89 last week so they have climbed a massive 71 places :o
April 15, 200817 yr Alphabeat down 1 :yahoo: :w00t: Still doing BRILLIANTLY! But how are they gonna follow it up??? lol
April 15, 200817 yr Well done to all of them i'm really suprised with cilmi still in 50-41 for a 4th week for a song that was low top 40 :o and james also holding up well even if he is over 10 places down at least he's still top 75 :D
April 15, 200817 yr I'm a bit surprised Sam Sparro stayed in the top 3. I thought he will drop down to 4-5. BTW I found the first video version of the song: FFe0tsvChQU A bit gay but I prefer this to what's been played.
April 15, 200817 yr About 180 copies Funny how this isn't supposed to be her first single here in the UK. It's a much stronger track than Tattoo IMO.
April 15, 200817 yr :yahoo: :w00t: Still doing BRILLIANTLY! But how are they gonna follow it up??? lol with practically the same song :heehee:
April 15, 200817 yr with practically the same song :heehee: Its not! I think it sounds similar but not as much as people on here are saying it does! lol But anyway the formula seems to work for S4G so who can blame them!
April 15, 200817 yr Its not! I think it sounds similar but not as much as people on here are saying it does! lol But anyway the formula seems to work for S4G so who can blame them! well exactly... 10,000 Nights Of Thunder is not the same as Fascination but the chord progression is the same so it sounds similar, particularly in the bridge leading to the chorus plus its slower than Fascination
April 15, 200817 yr looked but could not see this posted  The Kooks fend off Mariah at top of albums chart 17:11 | Tuesday April 15, 2008 By Ben Cardew The Kooks look on course to edge out Mariah Carey at the top of the albums charts, with their second album, Konk (Virgin), outselling Carey’s E=MC² (Def Jam) by almost two to one on its first day of sale. Meanwhile, Elliot Minor’s eponymous debut album (Warner Bros) is set for a top five entry and Sarah Brightman’s new album Symphony (Angel) is on course to enter the top twenty. On the singles chart, Estelle’s American Boy (Atlantic) looks likely to spend a fifth week at number one, despite competition from Madonna’s 4 Minutes (Warner Bros). Both Usher’s Love In This Club (LaFace) and the Last Shadow Puppets’ The Age Of The Understatement (Domino) are on course to enter the top 10. source music week
April 15, 200817 yr I think Madonna will be number one by Sunday, anyone agree?! I think she can probably do it. It's a shame the Kooks are so far ahead of Mariah, but she looks like she'll have a strong #2 unless she has Janet Jackson-like sales and sells most on the Monday and next to nothing all week but going by last weeks sales she's secured a top 10 placing already.

April 15, 200817 yr I hope Madge will be no.1. Good to see her & Justin up to 2 but 1 would be great! Also, good to see Elliot Minor near the album chart peak.
