April 30, 200817 yr Out of interest, why does madonna sell 33k albums on the first day and then less than half at 15.6k the next day? Is it because of eager fans on the first day? I just wondered if there were any other reasons.

Artists generally sell about 3 or 3.5 x the first day sale, so she should be somewhere around 100k by the end of the week, probably more about 90k.
