Sadly both Rihanna’s and The Ting Ting’s ascents have slowed significantly to say neither will be No1 on downloads alone this week. Still impressive debuts on a Sunday!

She rose faster, so did Madonna, and Duffy, Basshunter took its time.

 

The upside of having a slow chart is slow risers, but nowadays big songs just debut high and then climb a little more then stall. If a song stops rising then it will probably not rise far again.

 

 

surprised to see no sign of Gusto - Disco's Revenge 2008...thought that could have been at least a top 20 hit with Freemasons on the remix!

Its been released also, but is only #13 on dance! :o At #11 is Cahill, and at #88 on the main chart, Scooter- TQIWITQ is nowhere to be seen on the main chart, despite being top 50 in the midweeks.

Some people, you have no idea how they got a record contract or why the public choose to torture themselves by listening to such drivel. Luciana fits squarely in that category. Oh well, if you won't see sense :P

 

Back on topic, I still firmly believe that Rihanna will be No 1 by the end of the week by a good margin. A lot of Ting Ting fans will have bought the physical on the first day, and I don't believe it has the legs to maintain the advantage over a 5 day period. But as they say, time will tell :)

:lol: I would have said fair enough to your opinion if you'd said it in a Luciana topic, but it was the whole comparing her to Ting Tings lady (don't know her name sorry) that got me against you :P

 

To the itunes chart, id rather see Coldplay at #1 than Rihanna or Ting Tings, but that doesn't look too likely :(
