with album sales so low these days its hard to call but we do know coldplay are huge album sellers im gonna go big also and i will 452,000 is what they will sell

Around about 400k? I can't see it doing *quite* as well as X&Y first week but pretty well all the same.

they should get really high first week sales (at LEAST 350,000 in the UK, 450,000 US) but sales are so much lower even than they were 3 years ago when X&Y came out so its hard to really compare just straight numbers. it'll debut strongly off hype and name alone, then stick around in the upper reaches with a good second single and tour promotion

I think the single is far better than 'Speed Of Sound' which I found to be really dreadful. :lol:

Well Coldplay have said they plan a 'summer of surprises' and the Daily Mail have said that their next album giveaway will be 'huge' and 'by far their biggest yet' and will also be around late June, when VLVODTAHF is released. I hope I'm wrong, I think I'd rather pay £10 for it than buy the Daily Mail. :cry:

If i hadnt seen what you guys put, i would have said about 100k lol. I'll go for 280k by the looks of it though.

 

I'd love them to clear platinum in a week though. I know for certain they'll have atleast one sale in opening week :D
