I havent heard some of them and thats the reason why I've put them in the list, but ive heard most of them I've Never been a fan of Black Kids anyway -_- and their new one is absoloutely dreadful IMO! Chris Brown has had so much more TV and Radio Airplay than any of those and the way he's shooting up the iTunes chart is showing how successful this song is going to be.

 

But we're always gonna clash with our music tastes lol coz its obvious they dont appeal to me and im sure most if not some of the stuff i like appeals to you, so i think we're gonna have to agree to disagree lol

 

I just checked and it has no official release date but is on music channels now.

 

I think they probably haven't playlisted it because of there not being an official release date as of yet because they usually playlist all of Rihanna & Maroon 5's songs too.

I come in this thread every week. Every week I hate it. It makes me cringe.

 

Why can nobody be content with congratulating the songs they like on making or remaining on the playlist? Every single week the same few people whinge their bloody arses off, moaning utter shit like 'UGH awful new additions', 'boring week!', when firstly I'm quite willing to be they couldn't do a better job of choosing music to suit a variety of tastes, secondly they most probably haven't even heard a lot of the songs but are just assuming they're 'awful' because they recognise that the name is of an indie band and not a young hottie who sings R&B, and thirdly when they don't actually have any better suggestions for new additions themselves but just fancy a moan.

 

I'm not going to name names and I know I sound like some fourty-year-old patronising old knobhead of the variety who congregate on BJ in a small number and whom I hold a severe dislike for, but jesus, get over it already? Painful to read. Painful.

I agree with this. I think it's fine to moan about what's on there but so many people list about 12 songs they don't think should be on and then suggest maybe two that would be better. The point of Radio 1 is to cater for all peoples tastes and not just play one type of song...

I agree. If people actually listened to half of the songs added to the playlist they might A) like them and B) stop moaning about not hearing them before. Like you said if it's not a mainstream pop/rnb act a lot of people (not EVERYONE) moan and cba to listen to them.
