Shame about Viva La Vida not charting - I think it's Coldplay's best song in years. What I don't understand is why the album version is also disqualified - when Ting Tings' Great DJ was allowed to chart, despite also being previously disqualified. I'm confused

I know. It's so completely boring. I just don't understand how people say it's better now. It may be more representitive but it's till manipulated, just in a different way. There is no way this is any more entertaining than 5 or 10 years ago!

This chart would be so much better if VLV hadn't been disqualified :(

And I still can't believe September was released the same time as the Age of the Understatement and it's STILL hanging around the top 15. Injustice much?

New York based alt-rock band heavily influenced by late 70s new wave and with a neat line lyrical self-deprecation. Following an appearance at 2005 SXSW, the trio was championed by influential UK radio DJ Steve Lamacq. Debut major label longplayer WITH LOVE AND SQUALOR crackled with in-your-face energy and featured the UK hit single "Nobody Move, Nobody Get Hurt". WAS's 2008 follow-up BRAIN THRUST MASTERY continued the theme. - HMV

Good record from the act and their best since their debut in '06. One question was W.A.S. always been a duo since I remember seeing three of them when they come out a few years ago.

So far, the Top 15 is the same as last week, exactly!

1 song out of 1 song?! Woooo.

Viva La Vida was my only hope for a decent new entry into the top20 this week but it seems it's disqualified once again and I do not understand the reason behind this. The album version should have charted!

'Violet Hill' must've climbed then, or stayed the same.

You are taking stating the obvious to a new level.

There was only one entry (Mint Royale) into the top20 last week as well, so for THREE weeks the SAME 18 tracks have been in it.

Totally. Give me the fast moving charts anyday, at least I wasnt bored.

Maybe if they drop the physical aspect of it, as physicals are not doing much to the chart, and release everything in the same week, the chart might just speed up
