June 29, 200817 yr With regards to Britney, she should have released 'Can't Make You Love Me' from Oops!, 'Breathe On Me' from In The Zone and 'Radar' from Blackout (I can't believe she actually released 'Break The Ice' and not this :().
June 29, 200817 yr Gwen Stefani - Wonderful Life Sophie Ellis-Bextor - If You Go Girls Aloud - Girl Overboard Sugababes - My Love Is Pink Kelly Clarkson - Sober Sugababes - Good To Be Gone Girls Aloud - Close To Love Dannii Minogue - Vibe On Pink - Cuz I Can Colbie Caillat - Battle Colbie Caillat - One Fine Wire Kate Nash - We Get On Britney Spears - Toy Soldier
June 29, 200817 yr I can't believe people really think Made Of Glass would've made a better single than Giving You Up! :heehee: MOG is an almost equally amazing song but the quality of a song really doesn't translate to making it a good single...Made Of Glass wouldn't have caught on or sold as well as GYU in my opinion. Aaliyah - Loose Rap (although the 3 singles from her self-titled third album were all amazing too. LR could've been next) All Saints - Scar (amazing! Shame Parlophone fucked the comeback up so very badly) Amerie - Crazy Wonderful (if there was a third single, this would've done way better than that bland rubbish Crush) Christina Aguilera - Slow Down Baby (if a 4th single had got a proper release) Ciara - Promise (how was this not a UK single?!) Ciara - I Proceed (should've been the third single after Promise and Like A Boy. Fabulous; she does good crunk for once!) The Corrs - Give It All Up (i know that won't be popular at all but however un-Corrs the song is it's such a guilty pleasure!) The Corrs - Hurt Before (absolutely gorgeous, but 4th single only, because such sparse ballads don't do much for album sales) The Corrs - Hideaway & Goodbye (both brilliant songs, but then the 3 released were also wonderful) Dannii Minogue - No Romeo (would've made a brilliant summer single) Dannii Minogue - Do You Believe Me Now? (absolutely beautiful, this could've been a big hit I think) Janet Jackson - 2Nite (and Rock With U, given that that's her best song but it got no kind of proper release, just a video) Kylie Minogue - Still Standing (instead of Chocolate) Kylie Minogue - Like A Drug (instead of 2 Hearts, maybe or maybe not as lead single) Madonna - Nothing Fails (obviously it was a single but not being the main a-side was scandalous) I'll probably add more later :heehee:
June 29, 200817 yr I think 'Made Of Glass' would have made an excellent single really, a lot of my friends who don't necessarily like Kylie like it! Although both singles from Ultimate Kylie served their purpose, maybe she should have saved it for a different project or something.
June 29, 200817 yr Janet Jackson-2nite Janet Jackson- This Time..... Also Janet Jackson- Enjoy and So Excited (proper release) Fergie- Fergalicious got cancelled :( And Mika- Lollipop ( :P ) was released but only as a b side, it did get some airplay though, same with Fergalicious. Hilary Duff- Stranger didn't get properly released i don't think here, either that or it just did REALLY REALLY badly :(
June 29, 200817 yr Natalie Imbruglia - Satisfied (this has already been mentioned I believe; at the very last it could have helped sustain interest in the album a little longer) The Corrs - Forgiven Not Forgotten (I know it was actually released, but it was before they made it big and it missed the top 75. I think a re-release of this could have been HUGE at the right time) Jamelia - Hustle Texas - What About Us (probably wouldn't have sold anything, but would have displayed a different, darker side to the Red Book album and could have shifted a few more of those copies) Dido - Stoned (see above) Pink - Humble Neighborhoods (would have been a MUCH better choice than Last To Know) Sugababes - Whatever Makes You Happy, Ace Reject Beverley Knight - Straight Jacket (someone has already mentioned this, but YES) I've seen mentions of Sky Fits Heaven (Madonna) and Hurt Before (The Corrs). FANTASTIC tracks, but I'm not sure they'd have achieved much as singles... Edited June 29, 200817 yr by Shoat
June 29, 200817 yr Author Suprised no one has mentioned Sugababes - Ace Reject  As for Nerina Pallot, Halfway Home was great but Idaho was superior imo  Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Love Is Here I was gutted that these three weren't singles...Idaho is stunning and Love Is Here was the highlight of TTLF for me and a No.1 in my chart!

June 29, 200817 yr Author Kelly Clarkson - How I Feel (OBVIOUS Single choice IMO) Natasha Bedingfield - Wild Horses Cascada - Runaway/Perfect Day Kate Nash - Skeleton Song Atomic Kitten - Always Be My Baby/Nothing In This World/I Won't Be There agree with those ones...Wild Horses would have been SO much better than I Bruise Easily... Cascada need to stop churning out the covers and put out one or both of those two... and I love those 3 Atomic Kitten tracks...Nothing In The World would have made a good career closer instead of Someone Like Me

FANTASTIC tracks, but I'm not sure they'd have achieved much as singles... I agree with Natalie Imbruglia...I also loved When You're Sleeping, although that wouldn't have been a good single...I thought that the single version of Counting Down The Days was poor...I didn't like the fact that they cut the bridge out and it went straight from the verse to the chorus...it sounded very odd Forgiven Not Forgotten is up there in my top 5 Corrs songs...absolutely brilliant song which could have been a big radio hit, I agree
