I'd much rather have Katy Perry #01 over Kid Rock anyday. At least it's original.

It's just so tuneless and dated in a very bad way. But then the UK liked 'Rockstar', so I can't say I'm suprised it's doing well really.

Katy Perry's song HAS to be the most overrated song of the year imo. The only reason it's doing very well is because it has lyrics about her kissing a girl. :lol: She hasn't exactly got the best voice in the world has she, plus her album is a let down so I wouldn't be supried if she's a one hit wonder. Obviously I expect most people to disagree with me... :P

I say by midnight. Dizzee Rascal debuted a lot higher and that took 6 hours/ 3 updates to get to #1 i think.

Erm, the album is brillant IMO, I have been listening to it on repeat for a week now and I love it!

And why do you say it's "overrated"? Noone says it's the best song ever, or that K Perry is the most talented singer ever, people just like the song and enjoy listening to it, there's nothing bad about it :P
