July 23, 200817 yr Is Britney's Radar getting promoted at all in the UK considering it's the new single in Ireland & doing very well on their iTunes?
July 23, 200817 yr Is Britney's Radar getting promoted at all in the UK considering it's the new single in Ireland & doing very well on their iTunes? #56 on Irish itunes is not what I call doing "very well", but no, no sign of Radar in the UK as far as I know...
July 23, 200817 yr Erm it is considering there's no way in hell that "supposed" video will ever be released.  And besides, you were ranting about the fact that the Girls Aloud Theme to St Trinians was doing incredible for yonks up until it's low chart position on the UK Top 75 singles chart, which by then of course everyone dismissed that track as an "unofficial" single. Hypocrites. Edited July 23, 200817 yr by Hecty Wecty
July 23, 200817 yr oh lord.... i hate wailing bitches but that jordin sparks track is actually GOOD! and the saturdays?....... doomed!

July 23, 200817 yr I'm thrilled Katy Perry has been added this early! :cheer: It's going to spend weeks upon weeks at #1.
July 23, 200817 yr I'm thrilled Katy Perry has been added this early! :cheer: It's going to spend weeks upon weeks at #1. Erm, yay? It must be the most overrated song of the year by a mile, imo anyway.
July 23, 200817 yr Erm, yay? It must be the most overrated song of the year by a mile, imo anyway. I agree.
July 23, 200817 yr Nah I like the Katy Perry track, I think she's done better though... well some of her older stuff is anyway. But I Kissed A Girl is a weird track, a bit like That's Not My Name by The Ting Tings, but still good tracks nethertheless. It's getting lapped up on Radio 1 already (and it will do because it's been #1 in the US for ages) and Scott Mills is already playing YouTube versions like I Kissed a Cat etc. on his show... is a shoe-in for #1 really. I don't think it'll be #1 in the UK for ages though, Oasis are releasing their new stuff in September and if the rumours are to believed then so are Kaiser Cheifs and U2.

July 23, 200817 yr It's AWFUL. A rare blunder for the otherwise fabulous Dr Luke. It's amusing, in the end, it's a good pop song, nothing to vomit about, only because it's got a big hype at the moment, some people will slag it off, just to pretend to be above the hype and stuff... Why can't they just say, "okay I'm not utterly keen on it, but it's a nice/ok pop song ^_^ ". Saying it's AWFUL (especially coming from someone who likes the kind of pop of Bedingfield, SB and GA) just sounds too much  You would be a hard rock fan, ok, but here it looks silly to say it's awful :) IMO!

July 23, 200817 yr Yes but there's nothing about the song THAT bad to call it awful when you're a pop listener and you rave about the likes of Kelly Clarkson, Tash Bedingfield or SB. I don't mean to be offensive or anything though, so don't start attacking me, I just found it bizarre from pop listener to hate the song with passion...... Edited July 23, 200817 yr by BJBB_Bertie
July 24, 200817 yr Haha what was the verdict on the GA St Trinians thing (Just curious ) did it get a full physical release or was it download only?
July 24, 200817 yr Haha what was the verdict on the GA St Trinians thing (Just curious ) did it get a full physical release or was it download only? It never got a physical release, it was an album track only. It charted at 50 something? and then was retracted from download. I think the label just didn't want to get into trouble with the girls for allowing something to happen. Some have said it ended their top ten run but personally i don't know. What i do know is that they have had 17 consecutive top tens and that will never be broken by a girl band again so i don't care lol I never understood why this was an issue, its really not important and i think anyone who thinks their top ten run should be ended because of an album track is silly. Its not like one of their singles flopped.
July 24, 200817 yr Author Oasis are releasing their new stuff in September and if the rumours are to believed then so are Kaiser Cheifs and U2. well lets hope they all flop!

I was reading the Now 70 sleeve and they said they have had 17 consecutive Top 10 hits but if the song had reached Top 40 and everybody had a chance to hear it... would it have broken their record? Sorry! Don't start anything i just wanted to know these things as i wasnt here and i wanted to put my input on it :heehee: I dont mean for it to deliberately start anything!
