This makes me sad. I was excited. Got such a good feeling for this album

 

Looking forward to hearing their new stuff. The album teaser on YouTube sounded remarkably like soundbites from Silent Alarm? Not that i'd complain too much if it did sound SA-esque, brilliant album.

 

They're also playing up here on my birthday, by coincidence. Very tempted to buy myself tickets. You up for it, Damon? lol

A bit annoying there's been Waiting for 7:18, Song for Clay, Hunting For Witches, 3 new songs (3x3, Real Talk, So he begins to lie) and Mercury but not a single song from Silent Alarm.

 

Just as I wrote that they start to play Banquet :D

Mercury, I believe. Since it was the first single...

Didn't know what to think on first listen, but after a few plays i'm quite loving Octopus. Looking forward to the new album with much anticipation.

 

edit: they work quickly, it's been taken down everywhere...

Was out through Newcastle tonight, at the place they're scheduled to be playing. You could tweet your song requests to the DJ, so I requested Helicopter, he replied to me directly with "great track" and played it almost instantly; literally made my night. Also found out one of the lads I was out with quite likes a bit of Bloc and is up for seeing them in October, very very happy.

 

Also not that arsed about Octopus being taken down, already downloaded it :lol: honestly cannot wait for the rest of the album to leak, and really hope I get to go see them; they're playing my birthday weekend, it would be the best present ever.

nothing leaked iirc, Kele invited himself onto zane lowe like a week after Mercury was recorded and played it.

 

Gonna download Octopus right now.

Hmm. I wonder what Octopus sounds like? If you could compare it to one other BP song, which would it be?
