How many times have we heard the "pop is coming back big" thing over and over and it hasnt happened? Loads

It's the last thing we need.

I'm hurt Ryan :(

Make Mariah do the Jem Montage and I might think about saying sorry.

Well, sorry, but I like pop, and I didn't think I was alone here...
Metallica were awesome at Reading. The new songs they premiered, are a massive move away from the guitar-solo absence tracks seen on "St Anger".

Madonna is arguably the most popular female pop singer in musical history. Although she began her career in the late 1970s as a dancer and as drummer for new wave group the Breakfast Club, Madonna has touched upon many different styles throughout her trend-setting career, and has acted in numerous movies as well. Although her image has shifted to include looks as disparate as raunchy temptress and new age mother, the Material Girl has always maintained a fierce business sense and a remarkable knack for controversy. Few other artists--male or female--have had the phenomenal mass adulation or the staying power of this pop culture icon. - HMV

Woo! Madonna's back up. This should have peaked higher, I like it much better than 4 Minutes...

This was a top 5 US Hit for Miley last spring.

One note of info that may most of you know already, her father was the one who sang the hit "Achy Breaky Heart" in 1992.

The Verves album sounds unbelieveably boring and bland :puke:

Actually it was a Top 10 hit in the USA. But, why do you always post just random information for every song.

LOL, well, thanks. I like a bit of everything actually. But I honestly think there's a pop comeback coming from Europe (I live in the UK, by the way, I just like Europop, hence the flag!)
