Brand new single from the Swedish producer with Robyn on vocals. This has been getting spins on Radio 1 from the likes of Pete Tong and Jo Wiley. Could be playlisted in the future

Christian Falk (and Demetrius) are responsible for one of my fave dance tracks ever - the True Faith remix of Make It Right.

I must give this a listen!

^^ So right, Make It Right is such a tune

Christian Falk featuring Robyn and Ola Salo - Dream On:

I love love love this record, heard the last few seconds on Jo Whiley's show on Wednesday and it is such a brilliant record, hopefully a big hit with radio 1 support

Just found out, it is getting a release this year (woo!!!!)

Available to download as of November 17th and out physically a week later on November 24th on Data/Ministry Of Sound, so fingers crossed this could be a massive hit it deserves to be!!!!

**Stunning new single from Christian Falk featuring Swedish pop sensation Robyn**

November sees the long awaited release of long standing Swedish artist and producer Christian Falk’s anthem in waiting, the gorgeous, melancholy ‘Dream On’.

Taken from Falk’s ‘People Say’ album this laidback, string laden musical masterpiece is a beautiful pop record featuring Robyn’s gorgeous haunting vocals.

Anyone who has seen Robyn live will recognise ‘Dream On’ as it’s long been one of the highlights of her show. Robyn has had incredible success in the UK with her eponymous album which has now reached gold status selling over 250,000 copies, including last summer’s No.1 smash, ‘With Every Heartbeat’. She’s currently tearing it up across Europe supporting the mighty Madonna, the only artist support on the whole tour.

Falk began his musical career in the eighties as a member of Sweden’s biggest rock band at the time, Imperiet. He went on to become a renowned producer who through the nineties worked with everyone from Puff Daddy, The Notorious B.I.G, Neneh Cherry and Youssou N’Dour. He released his first solo album ‘Quel Bordel’ in 1999 and its follow up ‘People Say’ in 2006. Falk is no stranger to the UK charts, in 2000 his debut record ‘Make It Right’ became a dancefloor classic.

Whilst the original version is produced by Falk and mixed by Jeremy Wheatley (AlphaBeat, Sam Sparro, Duffy), the remix package tweaks it in all the right places...Moto Blanco take the track and turn up the heat with a funky house remix that pushes all the right buttons for some serious commercial club and radio play. Legendary house producer and Xpress 2 member Ashley Beedle goes down a more disco route, with some rolling percussion and old skool piano vibes, whilst German techno outfit Tiger Stripes add a dreamy, melodic twist to proceedings. Finally Virgo, one of the leading producers and DJ’s on the rapidly growing Bassline scene turns in a bump ‘n grind mix that flips mid-track into a wobbling bass heavy monster for maximum damage.

‘Dream On’ will be released on Ministry Of Sound’s dance imprint Data Records. The label has a proven track history including 5 #1’s, 16 Top 5’s and 22 Top 10 hits with a total combined sales in excess of 7 million singles. They have just recently released their 200th single, Eric Prydz’s ‘Pjanoo’ which reached # 2 in the UK charts.

'Dream On's lyrics are by default an eerily poignant social commentary on today’s ‘broken Britain’ where street crime is spiralling out of control, alcohol and drug dependency are on the rise. Falk and Robyn capture this beautifully whilst providing a thought provoking slice of pop brilliance.

good choice of single, excellent song  should keep Robyn's profile high in the UK too :D
Excellent song, should have been released months earlier!!!

I love Robyn!

This is a grower, nice track it is. I hope Data commision some decent mixes!

Great song, the video is kinda stupid tho :)
I've heard a great remix on Radio 1's Floorfillers.

It was probably the Moto Blanco mix, which is on youtube for your listening pleasure.

this would appear to be the UK radio edit:

less cluttered than the original, more emphasis on Robyn's vocals, added strings too, makes it sound more like With Every Heartbeat

gorgeous

OH MY GOD

That radio edit has just made my day, this song is simply stunning, a serious contender for record of the year for me, I absolutely have fallen in love with this record!!!!

This deserves number one so much but unfortunately wont be cos its released in a very strong month, the comparison to 'With Every Heartbeat' is so there but this has something a little different i think

I definitely think it's Robyn's best single since WEH, this UK radio edit is beautiful, I hope Radio 1 support kicks in soon
With Every Heartbeat blows the others out of the water for me...Be Mine is a distant second, Handle Me third and Who's That Girl doesn't even come close
