Liked it a lot from the very first time I heard it. I think it deserves a #1 or 2 placing - will probably actually peak at either 2 or 3.

If this does not get to #1, I will give up listening to the charts totally.

i like this, its interesting musically too i like when the production builds up..its a bit pet shop boys bit a of dance mixed in, its got a catchy hook so its has pop appeal. #1 is more than doable

Yes i have agree it is good song but i'm not gonna garuntee it'll get no.1 but i wouldn't mind it getting no.1 at all seeming that i have loved Bones,Read My Mind,Somebody Told Me, Mr Brightside and When you were young, So yeah i think its great

And to the person who was on about Sam's Town was the better album, then I disagree a lot. I do love Sam's Town, and I don't always think the criticism it gets from a lot of people is justified as it's a strong album on the whole, it just has some weak songs on it (same could be said for Hot Fuss though). But Hot Fuss is just a spectacular album... all of the singles are excellent (can't say the same for Sam's Town) and the album tracks are very strong. In places, Sam's Town sounds like it was a bit rushed, and if they'd waited a few more months they may have had wrote better songs to put on the album. Is strange that Human was apparently written around the time Sam's Town was released too. :lol:

I personally don't find it any greater than anything else out at the moment. I could see it getting to top 10 though.

 

I do like some Killers songs but I'm not the greatest fan of the lead singers voice - it's quite strange.

In an Interview with the german radio station 1Live, Brandon talks about "Human" and he indirectly gives an explanation for the "dancer":

 

We're alienating more and more from being human to each other. It's like this: Families split up and nobody is married anymore for a long period. Instead of that it's more important to us which club we have to go to the following weekend. That's why I think that we have seen better days before.

Flowers clears up 'Human' confusion

Killers frontman Brandon Flowers has cleared up confusion surrounding the lyrics to new song 'Human'.

 

The track features the chorus line "are we human, or are we dancer?", leading confused fans to speculate that Flowers is singing the word "denser".

 

"Denser? I hadn't heard that one. I don't like denser," he told MTV.

 

"[The lyric is]taken from a quote by [author Hunter S.] Thompson: 'We're raising a generation of dancers.' I took it and ran. I guess it bothers people that it's not grammatically correct, but I think I'm allowed to do whatever I want."

 

New Killers album Day And Age is released on November 24.

Agree 100%. Right now number one is statistically impossible. But I do think it will be their biggest UK hit ever.

This song is just so simple but so effective and just beautiful :wub: Definately touches all the right spots for me :P

I'd say it has a pretty decent shot at being no1 though depends on how that 'Hero' $h!t holds up and of course the likes of Britney and Leona...

 

Definate top 3 though.
