September 26, 200816 yr Liked it a lot from the very first time I heard it. I think it deserves a #1 or 2 placing - will probably actually peak at either 2 or 3.
September 26, 200816 yr If this does not get to #1, I will give up listening to the charts totally. btw, does Brandon sings dencer, or is it denser or dancer, I can't make it out.
September 26, 200816 yr i like this, its interesting musically too i like when the production builds up..its a bit pet shop boys bit a of dance mixed in, its got a catchy hook so its has pop appeal. #1 is more than doable

September 26, 200816 yr Author If this does not get to #1, I will give up listening to the charts totally. btw, does Brandon sings dencer, or is it denser or dancer, I can't make it out.  It's dancer. :P I'm very sure at least. And to the person who was on about Sam's Town was the better album, then I disagree a lot. I do love Sam's Town, and I don't always think the criticism it gets from a lot of people is justified as it's a strong album on the whole, it just has some weak songs on it (same could be said for Hot Fuss though). But Hot Fuss is just a spectacular album... all of the singles are excellent (can't say the same for Sam's Town) and the album tracks are very strong. In places, Sam's Town sounds like it was a bit rushed, and if they'd waited a few more months they may have had wrote better songs to put on the album. Is strange that Human was apparently written around the time Sam's Town was released too.
September 26, 200816 yr It's dancer. :P I'm very sure at least. I have been reading the comments on youtube, they are claiming it to be Denser :D
September 26, 200816 yr I have been reading the comments on youtube, they are claiming it to be Denser :D Well seeing how the Killers like to make Christmas records I wondered whether he was paying tribute to his favourite of Santa Claus' eight reindeers: Dancer!!! http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41QEZ7GwrCL._SL500_AA280_.jpg For your information the others are Rudolph, Dasher, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donder and Blitzen. :D
September 26, 200816 yr I personally don't find it any greater than anything else out at the moment. I could see it getting to top 10 though. I do like some Killers songs but I'm not the greatest fan of the lead singers voice - it's quite strange.

I think they're better than this though.
September 27, 200816 yr I have been reading the comments on youtube, they are claiming it to be Denser :D It's not "denser", it's "dancers" ! :P In an Interview with the german radio station 1Live, Brandon talks about "Human" and he indirectly gives an explanation for the "dancer": We're alienating more and more from being human to each other. It's like this: Families split up and nobody is married anymore for a long period. Instead of that it's more important to us which club we have to go to the following weekend. That's why I think that we have seen better days before. Here http://www.einslive.de/nachrichten/p...jsp?d=08-09-23 I will post the official lyrics as soon as they are available in The Killers forum :kink:
November 2, 200816 yr btw, does Brandon sings dencer, or is it denser or dancer, I can't make it out.  There Ya go :P Flowers clears up 'Human' confusion Saturday, November 1 2008, 20:54 GMT By Michael Thornton Rex Features Killers frontman Brandon Flowers has cleared up confusion surrounding the lyrics to new song 'Human'. The track features the chorus line "are we human, or are we dancer?", leading confused fans to speculate that Flowers is singing the word "denser". "Denser? I hadn't heard that one. I don't like denser," he told MTV. "[The lyric is]taken from a quote by [author Hunter S.] Thompson: 'We're raising a generation of dancers.' I took it and ran. I guess it bothers people that it's not grammatically correct, but I think I'm allowed to do whatever I want." New Killers album Day And Age is released on November 24.
November 2, 200816 yr I hope number one as it's an amazing song but I think #2 or #2. Agree 100%. Right now number one is statistically impossible. But I do think it will be their biggest UK hit ever.
November 2, 200816 yr This song is just so simple but so effective and just beautiful  Definately touches all the right spots for me :P I'd say it has a pretty decent shot at being no1 though depends on how that 'Hero' $h!t holds up and of course the likes of Britney and Leona... Definate top 3 though.
