Wow, the chart is really exciting this week, with 3 big new entries in the top 10 possibly all contesting the #1 spot (although I think the Saturdays are most likely to fall short :().

Add Pink into the mix and there's a potential 4-way battle on for the top spot. Tomorrow's charts won't even reveal the true picture as Pink will have had an extra day of Physical sales over Leon and the Saturdays who have had an extra day's download sales over Geraldine :o

I'm absolutely thrilled for The Saturdays, I was sure this was going to flop and am completely shocked (and delighted) at its success. Where did If This Is Love peak on the iTunes chart?
This is just getting better and better for The Saturdays, they could over take Leon at this rate. Amazing that Hot N Cold is in the top 40 as well.

Wow for Geraldine. I'd love it to be inside the top 10 tomorrow.

I also love the way Leon seems to have come to a bit of a standstill. I should support it I suppose as the guy who wrote it is signed to Gary Barlow's production company ... but I can't help feeling it would have been sung better by someone who hadn't been knitted from some sort of man-made yarn!

LOL Norma, I wonder if he has stalled though because its normal for songs to take a few updates to climb when they've got quite a big popularity bar ahead of them.

Hope he has though! :D

I think it was 7 or 8.

:o omg at the Saturdays  how excellent !

This thread is busy today...

Shame Keane are kinda flopping though its a while till release. Surprised at Summertime too, i didn't think it had any airplay at all...

Geraldine and Leon better p*** off...

Well it looks like neither of them are going anywhere soon! And there's still loads of people who don't even know that the Winner's Song is for real (purchasing wise). But there are forces out there working on this at this very moment! Dark forces that you and I dare not question!

Leon will have the physical advantage this week, as Woolies are stocking it in droves. -_-
:o Geraldine for #1!

It would be so brilliantly hilarious if it is #1 and Leon is #2, being kept off #1 by a parody of the #2 song will be one of the funniest things off all time in the charts let alone it knocking off P!nk which is imo has really naff lyrics and halting my personal fear of The Saturdays doing so well, that was bound to do well due to the hype despite it being generic and forgetable imo. *climbs into bomb shelter*

27 users in this thread alone, seems to be the new mid thread :heehee:
I predict Geraldine will be in the top 10 by tomorrow.

I'm going to have great fun this week in the mid thread, not looking forward to it ^_^

I'm thinking of buying the new Keane album, it sounds pretty good.

Also considering pre-ordering P!nk's Funhouse just to get an offer on tickers for her upcoming tour. :D

its because of excitement of new tracks on itunes, i must admit, its very fun watching these updates this week.

Stocking it and selling it are two distinctly different things! I think you may find that once people know that Geraldine's single is actually kosher - it'll outself Leon physically. And hopefully then ... the knitted one will go back to his maker to be unravelled and made into something useful ... like a tea-cosy!

TBH I won't be too surprised that come sunday we could be seeing:

1 - Leon

2 - The Saturdays

3 - Geraldine

4 - P!nk

5 - Kings of Leon

Or the Top 3 in ANY order!
