December 29, 200816 yr Shame on them if they missed the TV Show of the Year :cheer: :kink: Oh well seems as though it will have to be TV Show of the year next year aswell :smoke: You're saying that as if its an official award or something? :o Some people (like me 50% of the time) don't have digital tv :smoke:
January 6, 200916 yr it was pretty good though wasnt it. still not bought it yet. does anyone know if it will be bak?
January 8, 200916 yr I saw this for the first time last night, and I watched the first episode I missed on the internet today. Can't wait for the next one tonight! :D It actually seems very believeable, like people would be reacting like that if there was a zombie disaster. It doesn't make absolutly every single moment super dramatic like what some horror shows try to do. It's a unique idea too, zombies + Big Brother house, what next? Werewolves in the Jungle of I'm a celebrity or maybe an Alien Invasion during X factor? :P I just hope my favs don't die :( Edited January 8, 200916 yr by Sabrewulf238
January 8, 200916 yr Don't read the rest of the thread :P Yeah I read up to about the 7th page as It has stuff only about the first two episodes. I can't believe I never even heard about this until Monday (But I didn't watch it on tuesday because I thought it was some silly comedy skit on Big Brother) I find it funny how so many people seem to be scared of it, Dead Set doesn't scare me at all. and that's saying alot since I'm usually really scared of Zombie/Alien movies. I really like what I've seen so far though :D Edited January 8, 200916 yr by Sabrewulf238

But it probably helped as I watched it on E4 in the full feature length format in one sitting. Charlie Brooker = Genius.
January 9, 200916 yr I figured I'd put this message in spoilers since I'm talking about the whole series: Saw the last part of Dead Set last night, it was a really sad and dismal ending but I suppose that's what happens when theres a zombie outbreak. In a way it was nice that there wasn't the "Characters survive and live happily ever after" type of ending since that happens way too often. I didn't really find it scary, more disgusting than scary. I almost lost my dinner looking at Patrick when the zombies got a hold of him. :puke2: and when Patrick was cutting up Grayson. :puke2: I felt kinda bad for Alex though, all she wanted was to stay in the house but nooooooo that other guy wanted them to go on a rescue misson and she gets herself killed. :nocheer: I really liked this show though and hopefully there will be a sequel with some other survivors. :D Edit: Just watched that unseenscreen thing, it's pretty creepy how she said my name and everything..... :( Edited January 9, 200916 yr by Sabrewulf238
January 10, 200916 yr I have to say I LOVED this. I'm not an aficionadio of zombie flicks by any means. But I found this bloody scary at points. Bringing in Big Brother was a GREAT idea. The scariest part of the whole thing was seeing a very real and familiar part of modern British life being caught up in the whole mess. And considering the number of cameos, the zombie acting wasn't AS atrocious as it should have been. The ending was the only way it really could have gone. At some point or other, whether the housemates had stayed in the compound, or Alex and Rij in the farmhouse, they'd have either had to have left to fetch supplies or the zombies would have got in eventually.
