Do GA have any creative input into the songs they release? I know it isn't always necessary as a good song can be performed well by good singers but GA's vocals were dire on X Factor. So I'm struggling to understand the adoration for them on here apart from in the looks department.

I'm not keen on the Promise but they have released some very good catchy pop tunes. Just think that's more down to whose behind the writing & production of the tracks.

Hope my post doesn't offend but when I read posts on here saying they are AMAZING I struggle to see why.

Usually love Girls aloud but their performance was dire last night with its combination of bad live singing on the verses and mimed chorus. Song still not one of my favourites of theirs either.

Girls Aloud are so-so performers. Last year on the X Factor they were amazing live, and they are IMMENSE if you see them on live tours.

Admittedly last night on The X Factor they were not that good, Maybe they were having an off day or maybe it was just the song? It was their first time performing that song live.

Don't worry anyone won't get offended, you are entitled to your opinion as long as you state it in a fair way like you just did ;)

Britney, Madonna, Leona Lewis, Kylie and other big pop icons would be nothing actually without the artistic teams surrounding them.

Girls Aloud would be nothing without Xenomania, that's for sure, but when they've worked with the same people since day 1, you can say there's kind of a credibility and honesty in what they're offering.

Girls Aloud is as well 5 charismatic girls, that british people have seen grown and become respectable ladies. Each of them is unique and loveable when you get to know them :P

And don't judge them only on the basis of yesterday's performance, get the live DVD (released next monday), and you'll understand why 300.000 went to see them on stage during their last tour. They are incredible live

sorry but the promiss is sooo not good, top 10 worthy but not top 3!
Despite the majority of Buzzjack members dissing the track because it is not some hybrid of Something Kinda Oooh and Sexy No No No, I love The Promise and it is probably now my 2nd favourite GA single behind Biology.

I'm delighted by its success, despite their not great vocal performance on X-Factor it deserves to be UK#1 next week (and the manner & speed it is climbing iTunes suggest it will be) as it musical development exposes how dated new band The Saturdays sound in comparison.

it's quickly becoming my favourite now, it's not far off taking Love Machine...although that is a classic

I'm glad it's not anything like Sexy No No No, that was quite weak in my opinion, apart from the stunning intro
