I really hope no one enters Britney. I love her to bits. I know I have entered her before (first contest though, srsly, BJSC is completely different now), but I feel that just sort of defeats the purpose of BJSC. It's really to introduce songs to people they might not normally listen to. I know this is coming from someone who entered Katy Perry and Brandy, but I know that Brandy was really only popular within the R&B crowd...and I think I probably introduced a few pop fans to it through BJSC. As for Katy Perry, I was lucky in that I really had heard of her before the hype started coming in. I really honestly had no clue it would even be as huge as it was when I entered her.

 

Whereas with Britney, whenever the new single leaks, everyone will have already heard it...no one's going to discover it through BJSC.

btw i think i found the new statistics criteria for showing the success of countries in contests :o The less number the more successful your nation is. This works something like this:

 

e.g. Let's compare Quotosibb and Eledan success:

 

Eledan: 1(27), 1(27), 19(27), 20(20), 11(29), 26(27), 17(26), 13(27)

(1/27+1/27+19/27+20/20+11/29+26/27+17/26+13/27)/8=0.53192

 

Quotosibb: 1(29), 24(27), 16(27), 11(26), 4(27), 5(27)

0.30822

Yeah i forgot to say - DNQ qill be equal to (n+1)/n where n is the number of countries participated in the final
