Although Leona did get to #1 on Irish iTunes, but the UK is always going to be her stronger base. I don't think on the real chart she will be #1, but she could be close. She has a fanbase that will buy physicals as well as digitals so it should be enough for a high new entry and the song is not available on her UK album.

All of Girls Aloud's singles have charted lower in Ireland than the UK except 'Life Got Cold'. On the contrary, Shayne Ward's singles have all charted better in Ireland than the UK. They are different markets so it means very little how Leona is doing on Irish iTunes.

None of Britney, Leona or Beyonce will get to #1 this week. They'd need to shift pretty much 100k, and I don't see that happening. X Factor's sales will still be very strong, especially the physical.

Maybe you missed it oustselling Girls Aloud digitally in it's first week in Ireland with no promotion or advertising? All that despite GA having the X-Factor performance. And that's with a song most fans have had for the last 6 months.

Why is iTunes playing up? :rolleyes: They haven't got as frequent updates as before :( is it because of the major releases? Beyonce, Britney, Leona, Christina, Alesha All being released at the same time??

In terms of bars, there is a decent gap between Beyonce and Britney!

TBH it's going how I imagined so far! Similar to what happened in Ireland. Beyonce in front until her and Britney reached Top 10, then BAM Britney goes to number 1 :funky:
