November 5, 200816 yr Oh :no: Waking Up in Vegas is a much better follow up to Hot 'N' Cold. Waking Up in Vegas, Self inflicted, Lost & Thinking of You are my faves. (Along with HNC) But all them will make better singles (Bar 'Lost' - Strictly an album track) Oh well, this is by no means a rubbish song, I like it, but IMO not single worthy :( Edited November 5, 200816 yr by Johnjo07

November 6, 200816 yr I love One Of The Boys, the melody in places reminds me of Simply Red's The Air That I Breathe (anyone remember that :lol:) I'm not sure that it will be a big hit single but I don't think anything else on the album has hit single potential, even though as a whole I absolutely adore the album :wub: I can't see that the UK would take very kindly to a Katy Perry ballad, she's more known for being edgy and controversial here, and her voice sounds very odd in the verses of Thinking Of You in my opinion...not bad, just like an altogether different singer...

And I can see TOY doing better as a single compared to Lost :( Lost is nice, I do prefer Thinking Of You I just don't think it sounds at all like Katy Perry :lol: I don't think Lost would do anything chart-wise, probably not even top 40...Thinking Of You could go either way depending on whether or not people want a ballad from Katy Perry, or if they even realised that it was her singing it :heehee:
November 6, 200816 yr I think that 'One Of The Boys' is by far the best single choice. It is in the same vein as her other singles, and it will ATLEAST be another top 20 hit for her in the US. It is radio friendly and it backs up this "edgy" look she is going for.
