The chart runs for 'Needed Me' and 'Kiss It Better' are so annoying. But at least she's still up in the charts with 'Too Good' and 'This Is What You Came For'.

Sales for the Top 8 (#7 aside) best sellers from Rihanna have been revealed by Music Week:

01 Rihanna ft. Calvin Harris - We Found Love 1,551,697

02 Eminem ft. Rihanna - Love the Way You Lie 1,368,731

03 Rihanna - Diamonds 1,236,405

04 Rihanna - Only Girl (In the World) 1,223,737

05 Rihanna ft. Jay-Z - Umbrella 929,979 (859,219 paid for (128,341 CDs, 730,878 downloads), 67,760 streams)

06 Eminem ft. Rihanna - The Monster 927,317

07 Rihanna ft. Drake - What's My Name?

08 Rihanna ft. Drake - Work 892,062

Using sales only data given in January 2016, 'We Found Love' has managed 160k streams, 'Love the Way You Lie' 150k, 'Diamonds', 165k, 'Only Girl' 70k, and 'The Monster' 250k.

'Umbrella' has sold 5.8k in that time.

Thanks Liam!

05 Rihanna ft. Jay-Z - Umbrella 929,979 (859,219 paid for (128,341 CDs, 730,878 downloads), 67,760 streams)

128,341 + 730,878 + 67,760 = 926,979, I wonder where the missing 3k belongs?

Noticed another MW mistake: "[umbrella] ended its residency at the top on paid-for sales (admittedly the only criterion at the time) of just 255,981" - they must mean 355,981?

128,341 + 730,878 + 67,760 = 926,979, I wonder where the missing 3k belongs?

Actually, I think they may have meant 926,979. The report says 'Umbrella' is her sixth best seller and I thought that was the mistake, but a total of 926k puts it behind 'The Monster'. Therefore, this is what the list should look like:

01 Rihanna ft. Calvin Harris - We Found Love 1,551,697

02 Eminem ft. Rihanna - Love the Way You Lie 1,368,731

03 Rihanna - Diamonds 1,236,405

04 Rihanna - Only Girl (In the World) 1,223,737

05 Eminem ft. Rihanna - The Monster 927,317

06 Rihanna ft. Jay-Z - Umbrella 926,979 (859,219 paid for (128,341 CDs, 730,878 downloads), 67,760 streams)

07 Rihanna ft. Drake - What's My Name?

08 Rihanna ft. Drake - Work 892,062

Thanks to streaming 'Umbrella' will finally become a deserved million seller.

I do not like the sight of her two sub-par Eminem features in that top 8 though

I suspect 'Talk That Talk' is on the brink of getting a Silver certification, whilst 'Hard' and 'Pour It Up' might not be that far away either.

From Music Week:

Stargate first worked with Sia when they co-wrote Rihanna’s Diamonds in 2012. The track has sold 1,305,409 copies in the UK to date, according to the Official Charts Company.

Certified Silver this week.

'Work' has gone 2x platinum and is now her third best selling single! :o Not sure I'd put it anywhere near that high in her discography but pleased to see it do so well nonetheless.
