great song but I stand by what I said before, it sounds like a completely different singer to the girl who sang I Kissed A Girl and Hot & Cold...her accent on the verses has a more extreme twang than that of Avril Lavigne

This is smart of them, it will do a lot better than that stupid 'One Of The Boys' song would have done.

A better choice than One Of The Boys, probably wont do aswell as the first two though.

It's a good song, Very Alanis Morisette/Avril Lavigne. It's a smart move from the record label because it shows another side of Katy Perry's music, however it wont be as big as "Kissed A Girl" or "Hot & Cold" but could help boost albums sales a bit

I've started to think that One Of The Boys will be one of those albums that will pick up after xmas and end up in the top 3 at some point...

I was actually really suprised the album did so baddly as #11, i thought it would at least go top 5 if not top 3.

People just don't want an album of Katy songs. :o

I don't think that's true... people just saw IKAG as novelty and probably didn't think they'd enjoy the rest of the album so much. Plus word-of-mouth about how terrible the album was and the scathing reviews will have harmed it.

 

If she makes a good album, it will sell. :heehee:
