Yeah, it's likely Cher since she's said she's releasing one - I'd say unfortunately, but I don't think anyone actually wants an Emma Bunton Christmas album, more that it would make sense commercially to release one if she's going to attempt to tour at Christmas again.

This is so tedious...

Also, I hope she is ok. The level of transphobia in the UK has been ramped up over the last year or so, to the point that the actual prime minister is spewing fascist policies against trans people. Can only imagine how Emma and her family are doing in the midst of this.

Life in mono and My happy place if you put them together it's like a one album they fit so well together

Really? The production value of LIM is so much better.

how so? production wise and music wise, they are totally different lol

Life in Mono has great production and a cohesive soundscape that brings the 70's sounds it plays in to a modern age. My Happy Place is a middle of the road production of Emma's favourite songs over the last 40odd years.

I mean some tracks fit in Life In Mono like baby please don't stop and I wish I could've loved you more and too many teardrops

I don't think so... maybe the two original songs could fit in Free Me album.

Free Me is more poppy and fun while Life In Mono is a bit dark.

Hhmmm they are definitely more Free Me like budget versions but even then I'd say they would be kind of out of place there too.

LIM is one of my favourite albums - I think it’s beautiful whereas MHP well…

LIM better than Free Me

I hate My happy place. Just a piece of S##T

Life in Mono is pure class. It is not for everyone for sure, but it is a great record!
I tend to listen to LIM come winter time. It is one of the few solo albums I play as a whole as it is very cohesive and when in that winter mood snuggled in bed it hits the spot.

A fan on PopJustice about Free Me not being available worldwide:

Universal only own rights for UK/ I. They confirmed that with me last week. They have mentioned to 19 about them making the release available wider.

So it seems like confirmation that Simon and his team are at fault here and have been for years :tina: :nono:

Let's bombard 19 with pleas for them to put it on streaming worldwide now!! :cardi:

Let's demand:

Free Me and Life in Mono on streaming worldwide!!

Free Me 20th anniversary released with vinyl + CD/Digital with unreleased tracks

E-mails:

England: info@xixentertainment.com

Worldwide: presscentre.xixentertainment.com

Social media:

Also, it pisses me RIGHT OFF cos Simon is the type of guy who would probably be too stubborn to do arsed to do something like this because it wont bring him millions of pounds... Like, do something for the sake of it FOR ONCE :smoke:

LET'S FLOOD IT GIRLIES

I have emailed XIX today and will follow up next week!
Can I just say I am grateful to Simon for helping elevate the girls to pop icons, but I detest him as a person and I hate that he still has fingers in the pies.

Same. My particular gripe with him is that he seems to do nothing without the expectation of a multi-million pound return. There is no passion for the art that the artists create. That's my main gripe with his approach.

It was evident back in the day how much focus he spent on promotion and brand deals, leaving little time to focus on music and developing them as artists. And now it translates to 'this will do' type of reunions where there is big money but little effort from all sides.

And this type of blocking of Emma's music is really pissing me off.

At this point, I kind of just wish Emma would buy out the masters from Free Me and Life in Mono so she could own them, distribute them properly and inadvertedly make more money directly from them.

It's probably a case of only a few more thousand a year, if that, but it's about honouring and respecting your own work, Bunton!!!

What does BabyBunton mean here? A new Spice tour? A new solo album release with an American solo tour? :teresa:
