That might be the best direction from a business perspective (if she wants the album to pay for itself).

 

If she can get that market and also satisfy her gay fanbase, she might be on to a winner.

 

I'm not talking chart smash. Just breaking even and maybe justifying a few nights in a small London venue.

I saw on her Twitter earlier that she's also a voice in the new animated film Small Foot - she plays the voice of Mama Bear! She does quite a good job to be fair. I would say maybe she has a song for it as well but they've already got Niall Horan doing the title theme 'Finally Free' so maybe not?

My thoughts exactly as I would have thought Emma is a bigger name,only thing louises divorce and strictly really boosted her profile.

Louise had a more successful solo career than Emma did tbf 2 platinum, 1 gold and 1 silver albums (3 going top 10) and 12 top 20 singles as apposed to Emma's 2 gold and 1 silver albums (2 going top 10) and 9 top 20 singles.

 

Although Emma did get a #1 which Louise never managed on her own :wub: and what a song it is :wub:

I don't know what the venue size is of the one stated above, Emma could probably sell similar venues to Melanie C, albeit she hasn't built up a touring fandom... I'd go anyway :D

Touring was definitely a missed opportunity. :( I can't actually remember what she was up to during the second half of 2004... was it just further European promotion of the album? Then 2005 saw her attempt to breakthrough in the US, which sadly was essentially a waste of time.

 

At any point in 2004 or 2005 she should have tried to do a little tour of the UK and maybe the odd few dates in the Europe, all in small venues - surely they would have done ok for her, and surely that would have been a better use of her time, raising her profile in markets that were somewhat there for her.
