Least the Sugababes admitt to there album flop , Just because Girls Aloud have Top 10's and Sugababes don't and Girls Aloud sell out arena's , Girls Aloud dont even write there own songs!

one reason why Girls ALoud are so popuilar is because of "The X Factor!"

Don't wanna get into this because it's petty! -_- But, Sugababes do not write their own songs! They co-write yeah. On the latest album Heidi has 1 credit and Amelle 2. It's mainly Keisha ;)

^^ if GA are only famous because of xfactor, how comes dannii minogue isnt a megastar coz she has also released music while on xfactor?

And GA do write some of their own songs but their is a thing called lack of time. No act in the uk has a busier schedule than GA. This year they had like 2 weeks off in the summer.

Oh and the sugababes recent hit About you now was actually written by cathy dennis : )

This era was doomed the moment they decided Girls was the lead single, had they gone with Every Heart Broken they possibly would be doing slightly better. No Can Do however is destined to flop and will probably miss the top 40.

^2 weeks?

Rihanna will have a year!

That's the only thing I dislike about GA... lack of their songwriting.

Why though? If the writing team keep delivering them consistant hits why are they gonna take a risk and suddenly start writing? GA know what they are. They know they don't write and that's fine. I'd rather them stick with the team than take a risk and it be awful tbh...And GA have a couple of credits on OOC, no different to Heidi and Amelle on C+S, it's Keisha who is the main in the band.

^fair enough...

i just can't think of someone who don't write...

A certain popstar who released an album this week and is set to land in the top 5? ;)

GA write almost all their b-sides aswell and they also have a lot of input into what direction they want to take. They do work together with xeno, they just dont write lyrics.

I reckon people get too hung up on writing credits, i mean its music, who cares where it came from aslong as its good. Certainly not me, and i would imagine most of the public.

Normally Heidi and Amelle write a lot more. This year the whole album was written in two weeks so really there was no chance... Keisha just threw herself into it. I wouldn't write much during the time which was meant to be my summer holiday either.

Normally they do write a lot more, but you're right, it is particularly Keisha. Brian Higgins of Xenomania once said about Keisha that he can't imagine her ever quitting music because she breathes it.

britney atw!

I think probably a flop from their views, but not a complete flop that missed Top 40. Thats what i class a flop, where it doesnt even chart, so I dont think flop, but because of how well they usually do, it is a flop for them.

Take a break for a year girls, come back with fresh, funky matierial :)

Its a shame because I like this song, but I agree it will flop :(

A flop in my book is something that performs below par of what's expected of it, or something that performs so badly that it leaves the artist in a bad position. That's what this will do sadly. :(

They sold out the Overloaded arena tour.

That is a MYTH! Neither the one London date or the one Manchester date was sold out. Almost all the back of the arena's were covered by a black sheet and no seats were used on the top tier for the MEN.

As I said I am a huge Sugababe fan but even I was shocked when I saw them at Wembley Arena - Nearly a quarter of the arena was sectioned off due to unsold seats.

Back on topic the one thing that might save this single are the great mixes that were sent out on the promo.

A quarter :o Gosh, that's a lot ! :o I understand why they tour small venues now ! Are they even touring in 2009 for this album ?

Sugababes star Heidi Range has apparently blamed the group's record company for disappointing sales of their new album.

Catfights and Spotlights debuted at number eight in the album chart last month and has since dropped out of the top 40.

"The sales have been disappointing but I don't think it is a reflection on the album's quality," Range told the Daily Star Sunday. "The problem is the promotion, I don't actually think our fans know we've even got an album out."

The band's long-time rivals Girls Aloud debuted at the top of the album chart with their latest offering Out of Control earlier this month.

Keisha Buchanan added: "Of course we would have loved ours to go to number one but we still sent flowers to congratulate the girls. We're not going to lose any sleep over it and will be back in the lab soon to start again."

-_-

Babes please head back to electro-pop :(

I hope they'll dissapear for a year then explode back onto the music scene with a track as fab as AYN.

This era is just to rushed, and seems more like a cash-in than an album the babes put there heart and souls in.
