There is a campaign to get a decent version of 'Hallelujah' to number one. There are over 21,000 members of the Facebook group 'Jeff Buckley for Xmas number one'!

oooh should make quite an interesting chart afterall next week! :o

'The Loving Kind' is AMAZING full stop.

With the help of PSB  full stop.

It would've been great if there was a version where the PSB sang with them :o

I just love the whole feel of the song. I think it's their best since 'No Good Advice'. The 'I'd do anything, sing songs that lovers sing etc' part is the best <33

They are telling every1 to download it twice, starting tomorrow...half won't even bother! And, by that time Alex will be shown as No.1 on all those sites, and her face will be all over them...many will see it at that point as a lost cause! Waste of money!

TBF this campaign is already about the most successful of its kind. The famous Spice Girls to number one campaign for 'Stop' failed to make the top 75! Even if it stays in the top 20, atleast it'll have shown people there are plenty of other versions and that the X-Factor is completely unoriginal!

I don't think the majority of those people buying it are buying it cos of the campaign though, more because they've heard it sang 3 times on the X Factor and people wanted the song

This is true! But, the name of the group isnt to get it in the Top 5, it is for Xmas no.1 as the title says...and there aint enough sheep in the world, who can beat the Xfactor sheep! So, they will FAIL!! <_<

But you;ve got be ambitions. No, enough people won't download it but if the campaign was 'Get Jeff Buckley to the Top 10' then far, far less people would do it!

Neither do I, most wanted to hear other versions..and due to the fact that Alex's version wasn't available at MIGNIGHT  as stated so many times, people just downloaded this too!

Are people seriously so stupid and impatient to spend money on something they don't want just because what they did want wasn't quite available?! Anyway, if this is the case Alex's version is up now, with a front page ad, so Jeff will start to fall.

To be honest, those buying the Jeff Buckley version as well, just proves to Simon Cowell that he did the right thing in chosing the track, and in effect, single sales next week are gonna be huge overall, let alone for the X Factor winner
Great for Alexandra, Beyonce, Jeff Buckley and whats the reason for James Morrison's climb :o :o :o

He was on the Girls Aloud show that was sandwiched between the two X Factor shows. Kaiser Chiefs were on too.

Oh right just remembered watching the end of GA'S party and they mentioned James Morrison. That says it.

Thanks
