That would be because Alex is so far ahead that the rest of the bars are small. Then the gap between #2 and #3 is quite big so it makes everything else look smaller.

Ah I see. Thanks! I'm really not good with all the iTunes techie stuff

And how can anybody say 'Blackout' was good? I tfound it to be one of the most diabolical, ear raping records I've ever listened to.

'In The Zone' was her last flawless album with the three before that in the same league also.

wow at all the changes on here :o

Alexandra at #1

Jeff Buckley and Morrison/Furtado top 5

Listen top ten

sales will be brilliant next week

Shame it took such a huge show to make Morrison and Furtado leap up.

A really deep and beautiful song <3 I hope it makes top 5 next week.

Does anyone think there is a chance of anything else being number 1 next week instead of alex? Just wondering. Her lead on the itunes top 100 is so impressive.

Wow at Beyonce with Listen in top 10 :o totally deserved though, love that song. Yay for Alex, so glad she's number 1. Also I just want to say

THIS IS NOT A BRITNEY THREAD!

Not really but Geraldine will surely be number 2.

I have the feeling Gezza will debut at about #12...

where on earth IS Geraldine :o it's been out all day and made no impact

I didn't even know it was downloadable today (not as it makes a difference as I'm a non-downloader). I thought it was going to be the same day as the physical.

Are you being serious?

It's a rip-off of the Bryan Adams/Mel C duet with a bit of high school musical thrown in for good measure!!

As I said in the main thread on the song, I fear the joke has run dry.

I really adore Alexandra's version of Hallelujah  gives me the shivers

I have to say Alexandra's version Hallelujah is something special, forget Leon from last year Alex has completelty washed the walls with Leon in success :D

I think everyone has already forgotten Leon, everyone but Steve Brookstein has pretty much trounced him in terms of success.

GO AWAY JEFF BUCKLEY...WHY ARE PEOPLE DOWNLOADING THIS!?!

What do you mean?

[**]01| Alexandra Burke - Hallelujah

[01] 02| Leona Lewis - Run

[08] 04| Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah

[07] 05| James Morrison & Nelly Furtado - Broken Strings

[04] 07| Britney Spears - Womanizer

[17] 10| Beyoncé - Listen (From "Dreamgirls")

This REALLY pisses me off. All have some association with X Factor, and without X Factor they wouldn't be in the top 10 (except maybe Britney, but every since her performance she has stayed ahead of those that were formerly ahead of her. Beyonce is there too :(

James Morrison isn't X Factor related, he was on the Girls Aloud show. (which wouldn't have got as many viewers without being between the X Factor I guess)

Ah yes, but you just reminded me of what i was subconsciously thinking with your latter point :P

Why does it p*sses you off!?!

It's only for a month of the year if that?

I am sure other popular shows have influence's on the chart, just because X-factor is one of the most watched shows it has a HUGEEEE effect ont he chart.

I don't understand why people get soo annoyed, AFter all the sales are probably exactly the same for other artists not featured on the X-factor.

^_^

In Other news...

I am not surprised at all that Miss Mcqueen hasn't even made an appearance on Itunes yet!

It's funny how all the haters of X-Factor were buying Gezza's song because they didn't want to line SC pockets, when in fact they were just lining someone elses..Same with this song..They are blatently trying to milk Geraldine for all she's worth

Anyone else sense a greatest Hits album coming out?

I've tried to read the thing i put in bold 5 times and it still doesn't make sense to me  . Its probably just me though :P

Anyway. Its on for 6 months a year i think. I tend to associate X Factor songs as having a complete lack of creativity. They aren't all nessessarily bad, they tend to have very good vocals and good production. I just hate the "£1 million karaoke" style of it. Following the same format all the time, espescially such a dull one is something that the music industry as a whole doesn't need right now, or anytime for that matter. -_-
