I think people surely have an idea of what will do well anyway...there are two songs that have winner written all over them

 

without speculation/odds/predictas we just revert to BJSCI-IV which true were less predictable, but were also boring because there was no real expectation as to what would do well and what would flop. I certainly didn't expect Love Song to do as well as it did, but then I didn't care how it did because I didn't really care back then :lol: I only started to care more from BJSCV onwards

I am looking forward to seeing the odds as to where people place my song, it is a fairly good indicator.

 

I'm not sure if Agnes will win anymore, there's a lot of haters coming out of the woodwork recently. Shall be interesting to see who people think will win, because it is actually quite a tight contest.

It does strike me as being a very open contest, on a par with X now :o Agnes' haters have gotten vocal about it, her lovers have gone off her a little bit; Ice is good but doesn't strike me as a winner; Little Boots is amazing but then again, so were SOR and Meddle...but could she make it a third time lucky with Mdice? :o

I think Lights deserves a top ten, Maggie Berger was my discovery in 2007 and Lights was my discovery of 2008, her EP is simply phenominal and easily made her my most played artist of the year so for the first time in this contest I'd be disappointed with eleventh place or lower. Of course I also understand that she isn't quite as attnetion grabbing as some of the other acts and her song doesnt particularly stand out in the recap vid.

Hopefully odds are wrong. They're never completely wrong tbh. Far from it. In BJSCXII there were about 5 songs people got wrong.
