URGH! That run cover was awful! It made no affect on me what so ever. It sounded like an attempt to be Mariah which FAILED. What's with all the ooooo and WOOOOAH! Is that all Leona can do?

They were showing a couple of the hits from January to June. They showed Vampire Weekend - A Punk. It peaked at #55, hardly worth showing :P

 

I enjoyed it though, loved Adele's performance.

I was a bit gutted that they didn't have a 20-2 chart countdown before Alexandra or any sort of YTD countdown

Some great performances from Girls Aloud, Leona, Adele and others but as my nan pointed out, what is the point of the other 4 Pussycat Dolls?

because Nicole is unable to have hits without them, even if they are doing bugger all behind her :rofl:

I love fearne, don't know why everyone seems to hate her! Girls aloud/Leona/PCD =<3 Although nicole sang very badly Adele and Duffy were good too! Take that same as usualll, coldplay, boring but i do like the song, annnnd i can't remember who else was on! Oh the black and gold singer was good too =]

I really like Fearne & Reggie. But, on this TOTP, they didnt seem like they were putting much effort into it. Thats just my opinion.

I really felt for Alexandra. The performance of 'Hallelujah' was not good! :( But wasn't TOTP recorded like the day or 2 after X Factor or something - Actually I think it was a week... :unsure: Girls Aloud were good, but they've had better. Leona, faultless, as usual - Interesting how they didn't make the 2nd to last performance (Before Alexandra) Scared how she would completely over shadow the number 1? :kink:!

 

PCD weren't very good, vocally, but I enjoyed the performance and I loved the remix at the end though :wub: Dizzee Rascal - Dance Wiv Me, REALLY ANNOYING! The song WAS good, but now it's been over played! Geraldine (a.k.a Peter Kay) :heehee: Love the song :wub:, McFly being McFly :(, Adele was v.good live! Although I don't like the song. Mamma Mia Rubbish! Aaargh I really don't like ABBA! Coldplay, Good song, but can't stand Chris!

Pussycat Dolls were my favourite performers of the show, really enjoyed Adele as well. Ooh and I really liked Geraldine :lol: wasn't expecting her to be on it.

A great show = Please bring TOTP back on a weekly basis especially where kids can watch the show & literally go onto iTunes and buy the track in question it is needed more than ever to break Simon Cowell's mafioso grip on the charts.

 

2 Points:

 

Fearne & Reggie = utterly useless presenters. Please get rid.

 

Alexandra Burke = I challenge anyone who watched that show to say that she is a world class singer/artist in the making; vocally compared to Leona Lewis Mariah Houstonesque take on the Snow Patrol classic she is dull. It looks like the Richard Park's quote about Alexandra will be as much her epitaph as Chris Evans "Sheena Easton in a fat suit" was about Michelle McManus.

Girls Aloud were brilliant, PCD's performance, Nicole is better off going Solo, rest of the pussycats were just prancing around.

 

And Alexandra sounded as if she was trodden on a bit of turd, Leona outshone her with her haunting version of Run, it was far superior than Alexandra's Hallelujah.

 

The rest was a bit medoicre and dull as dishwater.

 

And finally, the presenters don't get me started, they looked more than a couple of lost sheep in a field, please bring back Jimmy Savville.

I can't believe Alex is getting slated. She was great, her vocals were amazing and the choir was great too. Or is there some i missed. As for Leona well good performance but did get a bit boring after a little while.

 

PCD, Adele, Coldplay, Sparro were all great too and finally Reggie & Fearne IMO did a fab job. Its just because you don't like to admit they were ok :D

Just watched this. Sorry, but the PCD performance was terrible, Nicole included. None of them can even keep up with the music. Also why did they perform their current song, rather than When I Grow Up, which would just about count as one of the hits of the year, although I hate it?
