"Please, Vote for the song" are the first words that come out of Bethany Joy's mouth whilst being interviewed today.

Bethany Joy, who is most famous for her role on hit teen drama 'One Tree Hill', said she was honoured that she was chosen by the country to represent them on their first ever attempt at the show.

However, Bethany told us of her worries that the country may not do well due to it being new to the contest.

"I just wanna say to everybody 'Please, just vote for the song you like and not the country', you know? I think the song I have is pretty good".

"Kara & Matthew did a great job on it and hey, the vocal's not too bad either" she laughs.

"I don't think I've ever seen the Eurovision song contest before, but I know this is very similar. Obviously, it's much better (she smiles).

I know that Maria Menounos presented that contest in 2006, she played a character called 'Jules' on One Tree Hill,

and I've heard that country's that neighbour each other give highest marks to them.

Which is why I'm so reserved about this contest" she continues.

"There are some fantastic entries in the BJSC XIII, So no doubt they're going to do well.

This is basically just a small plea for voters to vote for the songs you like and if you like Scherzland's song, don't be afraid to vote for it" Bethany ends with a laugh.

"Of course, if you don't like it, thank you for listening. I'll be going out and giving my all on the night, anyway".

H&CLAIRE REPRESENT SCHERZLAND IN BJSC SPINOFF

 

British pop act H&Claire have been chosen by Scherzland to represent them in the BJSC Spinoff: Number 10's.

The track reached number 10 on the UK charts in 2002 and the band had subsequently been dropped and split up.

They have now reunited to represent Scherzland and bring back their infectious pop.

Claire Richards recently returned to the limelight with her top selling fitness DVD.
