for all those delighted for lily or highly annoyed.

just a quick reminder, SHE HAS A FORUM

:kink:

Considering Lady GaGa is shifting around 70k a week Lily’s climb has been pretty meteoric, bodes well for next week and hopefully a second UK No1!

I imagine she would be top40 tomorrow looking back at others who’ve released on the Friday:

Sam Sparro 24-4-

The Script 30-3-

P!nk 38-1-

T.I Feat. Rihanna 39-2-

& I remember:

Sugababes - About You Now 35-1-

but AYN wasn't released on a Friday, it was just remixes that charted at #35 all by themselves.

After going searching t'net......

Apologies you are correct. Still at least I remember the chart climb correctly.

.... Goes off topic if only the Sugababes had released Every Heart Broken & called it by its original title Murder One instead of releasing Girls as the lead single then their latest album would not have sunk.

I know, No Can Do should have been first as well. Hehe

Totally agree. I changed it on iTunes to Murder One, far better title and a #1 that never was

God No!

'No Can Do' Should NOT have been released AT ALL!

Anything would have been a better choice than 'Girls', I still don't know what they were thinking. Surely they should have known it would kill the album completely before it began. -_-

'No Can Do' was a good and much better song, but not quite enough to save the dire state the album was in sadly. :( 'Every Heart Broken' should have been released, yes.

God No!

Well, better than Girls, right?

TBH if it wasn't for the boots adverts Girls would have done much better, i think.

I still think they should release EHB but call it Every Heart Broken (Murder One).

How does that figure? They were clearly hoping the gimmicky attachment with the Boots advert would sell it, it's as if they relied on that solely.

Although I agree Girls was a terrible choice but its became their 5th best selling single now. :o

I'd say it did the minimum that was expected of a Sugababes lead single really, it crucified the album and nobody makes any serious money from just a single selling a satisfactory amount.

that really wouldn't surprise me.

Island and their management are a total waste of space

and oxygen

The era may have gone wrong but it could have gone so much worse on so many levels

I'm saying that if there wasn't any boots adverts with any version of Here Come The Girls, people wouldn't have thought that the babes were trying to get sales from the advert and i think more people would have liked it. :offtopic:

I wonder if Breathe Slow will get top 10 now.
