Why blame the Boots ad?

The song actually arrived on Islands A&R desk BEFORE boots used it in an ad.

 

So, people can stop saying it copied a successful album coz it ain't true. It just wasn't suitable for Change so the A&R kept it and let them hear it last summer.

I reckon this could be an EastEnders effect...because you could clearly hear Womanizer in the background in the club and was quite loud.
