February 17, 200916 yr Wow, that episode was FANTASTIC. The best yet, easily, and the others have been so good! There was touching, there was comedy, there was drama, just great. Nothing is predictable, I had no idea Bernie would watch the wrong DVD until he did. When I saw the 'next week' clip last episode, I assumed they had been found out as werewolves and co, so it was a great twist that that wasn't the case, and it all tied in so WELL with the Nina/secrets line (ps. love love LOVE Nina) Also, the fact that because of the Owen situation, Annie is now a poltergeist is GENIUS, I laughed out so loud when the lightbulb fell from the ceiling and the slag-woman went 'rawlplugs' Perfect hours, genuinely.
February 21, 200916 yr Just watched episodes 5 and 6 preview dvd's. WOW. I wont say anything else yet other than - BRING ON SERIES 2! :cheer:

February 25, 200916 yr Another absolutely great episode! I love how it goes from tense to humour, the best example in this episode being George hitting Seth, it being really important and then Annie asking how his hand is and George practically crying with pain! Just great! Didn't like the bad guy at the start of the series, as a character (obviously you're not supposed to like the baddie but I just found him pointless), but he had a real side role then. Now he's into it as a real central bad guy and the vampires are central to the plot, he's working alot better for me. LOVED Owen in this episode, his cockiness was excellent and what we didn't expect, and then the change in him right at the end, great work!
February 25, 200916 yr I actually thought it was the worst of this series :( It was still good but it felt a bit surreal. It sort of bounded between humour types and not having George worry about his condition (or even mention it) was a loss. Annie brought the brilliance - surely she's not gone for good?!

March 1, 200916 yr Well that WAS brilliant. The twist at the end leaves everything wide open; I can't wait to see if they become wanted by the public, like hate figures, or if they're wanted by scientists or... who knows. Series 2 will be crazy.
March 1, 200916 yr Oh I missed the finale. :( I thought the episode before was great though, I really hope Annie hasn't gone for good, I love her and I think the actress who plays her is SUCH a good actress too, would love to see her in more stuff soon.

March 1, 200916 yr I'm really looking forward to Series 2. This last episode was as gripping as ever. They're all FANTASTIC in their roles. Even the main Bad Vampire guy who really didn't intrigue me much earlier in the series. Such a fantastic end to a bloody sensational series. But what's the betting it'll be moved to BBC1 or 2 for the 2nd series? :(
March 1, 200916 yr Glad to see everyone loved the finale so much! So much potential for series 2!! :D I really hope it stays on BBC3- I get preview's so dont watch it there, but I'd be worried they would try and change it for BBC1 or 2 to be more accepted.
March 3, 200916 yr Yep great ending. loved that George changed the venue, loved Annie's new powers, loved the fact that Nina is about to join George in his lifestyle, loved the fact Owen is a mental!

March 18, 200916 yr Thought I'd post this- Look back at series 1 with a few bits from the cast. Also a spoiler for series 2- The threat comes from a human unlike the supernatural threat of Herrick in series 1! So excited already :cheer:
