Promiscuous is vastly overated IMO

Promiscuous was AMAZE until I overplayed it. I preferred it to Maneater at the time as well :o

Maneater is so much better than Promiscuous, though theyre both amazing. Say It Right is overated imo.

Say It Right is brilliant because it is so subtle, it doesn't try to instantly grab your attention like Promiscuous/Maneater but instead worms its way into your conscious until it never leaves

 

it's simplicity is what makes it so great

I bought her first two albums after being converted via the Loose era...I found the first album to be way too oddball and just not an enjoyable listen at all, whilst the second album had its moments but I never understood the cult status that it got

Nelly's best songs are EASILY Explode, One Trick Pony, Turn Off the Light, I'm Like a Bird, Try, and Maneater imo. She's a singles / song artist, not an album one imo. Her first two albums had some CHOONS. As did Loose though it's so ugh now tbh.

You do realize she has two other albums right? :/ With way better songs than Loose. :( Explode + Try + I'm Like a Bird have such pathos to them, mmm.
