When I first heard the album I thought it was utterly bizarre not to release this as the lead single from the album as it was head and shoulders the stand out track on Dig Out Your Soul.

 

Plus the video is the best I've seen this year with the Princess Margaret/Diana lead character, certainly the best video Oasis have ever done.

 

It would be a bit like U2 releasing Get On Your Boots as a lead single from an album that contains With Or Without You.

GREAT number one...the best Oasis single in over 10 years, I think.
