Oh god at all this hype I'm getting. :( I mean, I'm glad people love The Girl and the Robot, but I'd hate to see a backlash. There are quite a lot of other great entries already confirmed...I mean, Rontvia are definitely going to be a potential winner with Pixie, lots of people love it (the only people who seem to have expressed hate are me and Jake, who isn't even in the BJSC anymore haha). Kopecka could be a dark horse as well. Then you have Lady Gaga who is loved by everyone. I mean, I'm not going to sit here and be like LOL GUYS I'M NOT GOING TO DO WELL, as I find that fairly annoying when people say that over and over, but I wouldn't call this yet by any means...

 

Jonathan Ross has just played The Girl & The Robot on the recommendation of musical guests The Pet Shop Boys and they are all verbally masturbating over the track.

 

Whilst the Pixie track is not the best track she has had entered in the BJSC therefore I fail to see how it can win.

 

IMHO Royksopp & Robyn screams winner with a 200 Pts+ record. The battle is for second place.

Personally I really really love it, but I think the Royksopp factor may count against Robyn...

I do like it, I just don't find it anything overwhelming which is what this whole uproar would make you believe.

The Girl And The Robot is just INCREDIBLE! Probably one of the best songs entered ever ;o But some time should pass to say that for sure. Jody's song is brilliant as well. So far I see 3 contenders for win. All of them i love. Pixie, Robyn and Jody. GaGa will probably be a victim of a 'c****' (censored due to KoS' inspire) factor. And i disagree about Royksopp being a 'factor that may count against Robyn'... ;o Robyn fans + Royksopp fans = double success. Plus the track contains Robyn's vocals only. Winwinwin

I don't like 'The Girl and the Robot' at all and I am a pretty big fan of Robyn, I've just never been a of Royksopp all that much.

I think the Robyn/Royskopp song is less than the sum of its parts. It should be brilliant but just doesn't stack together and gets a bit aimless. It's not a patch in any of Robyn's recent singles.

For those who dislike it, Youtube sorta kills the quality of the song, If you can find a HQ version on a blog/hypem.com, I'd recommend trying that.

LOL IMO u will end up inside top 3, but as I said earlier it's just too early to say u're gonna win, because as well all know, we have countries who prefers cheesy pop and probably Royksopp are not good enough for their taste.
