You don't know how much singles are selling on itunes at certain times however, the weekend may have higher sales on itunes so if gaga is #1 for the weekend then she has a chance at making the difference back if she has a decent lead.

 

 

Although by looking at the slow pop bar progress over the past day then it'll take a while for #1

Yes that is true, but is Gaga suddenly gonna open up a big lead?!?!....NO...she would have to get past 1st! We all know iTunes dominates the market, so although she is ahead on amazon, i doubt it makes a huge difference- just stops Flo's lead growing by as much as it would!

Therefore, in theory, if she averages 11% behind Flo Rida all this week on iTunes, she would beat him on sales (assuming sales on other sites are, on average, the same as the previous week). In that sense, she never actually has to overtake Flo at all.

TOTALLY Different! Poker Face is in it's 8th (or so) week on downloads whereas The Saturdays and Flo were JUST released on downloads, causing Kelly to fall. So it doesn't really work.

 

'Poker Face' (IMO) won't get to number 1 (Well certainly not on Downloads alone not sure about Physicals) because KIG, Beyonce ('Halo'), Calvin Harris & Lady Sovereign (Which will surprise a few people -_- I think) etc... are released in the coming weeks... so she is just going to have to settle for a 'Don't Stop the Music'/'Hot N Cold' sort of run.

Poker Face sold more at No4 last week than Kelly Clarkson did at No1! :lol: Out of the last 8 No1's My Life Would Suck Without You is the only one not to have sold over 70k for at least one week demonstrating that it was a fluke in a quiet week. :P

 

I can't see all of those getting to No1: Lady Sovereign has no chance, but possibly a top10 hit though; Halo won't sell in the quantities that If I Were A Boy did as it's the third release from her album; I fear Calvin Harris will do a Kid Cudi; which leaves KIG to emulate and probably better DJ Casper's success in 2004...

I agree I think it'll be very close come Sunday, I guess the sales pattern on Saturday will determine who is No1.

Not, to sound rude, those stats are well stats, lol! But the truth is she hasnt, hence him having the lead in the 1st place! for example today if they sold approximately the same, do people honestly believe, she is gonna sell like 3k(?) more than him 2morro to overall the deficit, just cos we get a lil increase in sales at the weekend. Becasue they will both recieve an increase.

 

I'm 99.9% sure, she won't be no.1 on Sunday <_< . It's a shame, cos her chances are running out! By time she comes to promote, she wont be selling 55k a week anymore, lol..and there will be some other track doing the business!

Firstly, I'm not saying it will happen I'm just saying there's a chance. Secondly, as I've already said, I only used the weekend increase as an example that itunes sales aren't constant throughout the week.

Sundays, Mondays and Saturdays are blatantly the biggest days for download sales. Saturday sales still equate to ~28-32% compared to Wednesdays at ~7-11%…

 

So I see plenty of room for Poker Face to catch Right Round in this week’s sales frame, I’m not saying it will happen but given how close sales are it’s a distinct possibility.

 

Should Islands In The Stream pick up a lot of Mothers Days present sales tomorrow in towns and supermarkets it could all be change again?

i'd love for it to be GaGa, Islands, The Sats and Flo on Sunday but that's not a possibility tbh.
