March 13, 200916 yr Oasis and Take That were good. And James Morrison looks pretty good right now! FF weren't bad either! Come on ... its a happy night! Be happy! Norma Feeling slitly idiot here , but who are FF? Did Oasis and U2 also sing two times?
March 13, 200916 yr Feeling slitly idiot here , but who are FF? Did Oasis and U2 also sing two times? I think I meant Franz Ferdinand! Although I could be a bit merry tonight and have gotten the act totally wrong! Norma
March 13, 200916 yr LMAO at Davina and Claudia!! Much love for these two too http://img7.imageshack.us/img7/5421/dddlro.png
March 13, 200916 yr LOL @ Nan Taylor  I've always thought Catherine Tate was hilarious with her.
March 14, 200916 yr hmm..... the saturdays performed live, but not that good, surprisingly frankie was the best. james morrison was superb! fantastic performance! french n saunders were RUBBISH, but then again ive never rated them much.
March 14, 200916 yr The comedy could have been better last night! The Little Britain stuff was absolutely dire. Still loved the Mama Mia stuff and the Outnumbered sketches were brilliant. That little girl showed some adults how to do comedy! Norma
March 14, 200916 yr Well from a comedic point of view French & Saunders with a lot of friends went out on a perfect high with a brilliant p!$$take of that Abba musical Mamma Mia. I hated the movie so I loved them deconstructing the film so perfectly. Other highlights included the Outnumbered; The Royle Family; Ricky Gervais' The Office The Opera - a brilliant mickey take clearly inspired to when an Irish opera company wanted to do an opera based on U2 songs (which Bono allegedly torpedoed) meets the recent Monty Python musical Spamalot. The lowlights were the painfully unfunny Little Britain sketches (and they used to be so good in their first two series); especially the one featuring Robbie Williams as Satan in the form of an 8 year old American girl.

An added bonus for me on the Mama Mia spoof was Phil Glenister! It washed away the nasty memory of Demons! I also actually loved the Victorian Dragon's Den! They kept the sketches nice and short and didn't drag them out. In fairness to Robbie Williams ... the Little Britain sketch would have been awful even without him ... but for a fan of his ... it must have been a little embarrasing. He can have his moments ... sadly this wasn't one of them. In all though ... LB was the only downer! Norma
March 14, 200916 yr £58 MILLION at the latest update! :o :o :o Phenominal total, so pleased people were able to dip into there pockets this year ^_^ I hope it can atleast make a dent
March 14, 200916 yr ^^ i think it's got to do with the txt method, so easy and for every text they got £5.
March 14, 200916 yr How many of the texts would have been from drunk people rolling out of the pub on a Firday night totally $h!tfaced and texting the number in a drunken state from home and then not remembering the next morning that they pledged money ? a fair number I would say given it was on a Friday night

March 15, 200916 yr I actually thought Robbie Williams made that sketch, he was dead good! Loved the Office : The Opera, big respect to Louis Walsh for taking the p*** out of himself, not something I expected to see. Catherine Tate always amazes me as Nan, how does she do that?! Also really liked Outnumbered, thought Danielle Lloyd's piece was extremely brave, and thought that Saturdays did a TOP TOP JOB.
March 16, 200916 yr The texts cost £5 though - I don't think this was "pledging" they were genuine debited costs. I gave £30 on Saturday on the strength of Robert Webb's Flashdance.
March 17, 200916 yr My lovely email told me the official total is now just under £60million. Bloody brilliant given we are in a recession.
