How on earth is Oasis a contender?

Or September?

Of course all the idiots who listen and take the contenders as 100% accurate are going to start texting in saying

'Omgz september 4 #1!'

Lady GaGa not a contender but September are. :o

Yeh, pretty strange. I guess its better than saying the Top 5, because that would give it away, so putting a high new entry throws people off guard so not to make it obvious.

Does this make sense?

if you seek amy will do soo much better then circus. I think it should have been britneys first release from the album.

The contenders will change as we get closer to the top 10.

Well most of the people don't know the midweek positions and I guess they are only listing the new entries or fresh physical released singles.

I can't see any problems here, it makes the chartshow more exciting.

But those textmessages are irritating. They should get rid off that.

At least they aren't saying that Peter Doherty is a huge contender. =D

I'm bored of Circus now, If U Seek Amy's video is amazingly hot! But it's too much like a Katy Perry video (ikissedagirl).

Britney Fact: Britney's last UK Number one was "Everytime" released from her album "In The Zone", from then on all proper singles from Britney have made the top 20, with the lowest being "Break The Ice". The last US number one is currently "Womanizer".

Anyway, back to Britney...

Old song is old, go away Circus. =/

Your posts are a bit negative today

I remember when they had Coolio as a contender

They are doing it to make it more interesting for listeners considering we have a rather static top 10 at the moment.

I'm a bit cranky today. Y'know, woke up a bit early.

Fearne is going to rabbit on and on about her mountain climb throughtout the show, I wish they left her there.

Thats kinda what I was trying to say with my post.

This song is one of those songs that is rubbish, but you can't help but like it. Its a good singalong track, surprised it didnt get very high. Might climb, but I doubt it.
