Same here, not everythings overrated just because they have overwhelming success. 'Just Dance' is a brilliant song and deserved all the success it got imo.

Overrated to me would be songs like 'Rockstar' which spend an absolute AGE in the chart and are actually quite terrible.

Wow, haven't found many others who love BDR, but that's my fave.

 

I think I must be the only person who doesn't really like Love Game though. The lyrics are awful.

 

I really didn't rate Just Dance at first, but after I heard Poker Face, I went back to it and decided it was pretty awesome :wub:

When a song spends 5 weeks at #1 when I (as in my opinion) think its not that good, then yes, I can say its overrated. Obviously people will have different views on that depending on whether they love it or not. Some people think Rockstar's success was absolutely deserved, so same thing there.

I dont like Love Game either, so you're not the only one :P In fact the album is quite patchy really, some really strong cuts, some poor ones, and a few in between.

I think 'Just Dance' is still my favourite song from her, it's just never gotten old for me for some reason. I'm not quite sure why.

'Paparazzi' and 'Poker Face' definetly both come close though. I also really like 'Eh Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say' and 'Summerboy' [which no one ever seems to mention. :(]
