Less than an hour before we get our first taste of the bright 'shining wits' that will make up this series! I do hope we can chat about it in here shortly after 10! I'm wondering who will be first to come out with the lines 'I AM Sir Alan's Apprentice', 'I was born to lead', 'I'm a natural w/\nker', etc!

No doubt whoever says it will be one of the first few to get fired. :heehee:

Can't wait for this, love Maragret. The Apprentice followed by Desperate Housewives, should be a good evening on the box tonight.

Well, you could say that's what most of the hopefuls on this show are anyway. :heehee:

I wonder if there'll be anyone as annoying as...Jenny from last year, the chinny ginger one?

I love the really annoying ones, they really are what makes the show! (Along with Margaret of course)

There'd better be some Tre/Ruth/Jo/Jenny characters in there!

I shall be doing my best to watch via iPlayer, when i return.

I pray for another Saira Khan she is god in a human form. Another Katie would do

The bitchy ones are always my faves

Saira was fabulous - I actually think her, James, Tim and Paul from the first series were brilliant! Nice, funny people and intelligent as well. Ruth Badger of course, from the second series, is the other stand-out success stories from the franchise. Everyone else has been absolute pants!

Tonight I really wished Debra had gone ... she is this year's Jenny! A bitch-troll-from-hell! She should have haggled for those remaining 10 cars in the showroom. If she'd have offered to do them at £5 a go - they'd have won the task with ease ... but she just gave up!

Great opening ep. What a group of women :o

Heather Mills looks evil. What a bitchy group!

Glad Anita went.

Can't believe Anita was fired :(

She was amazing! Made me proper LOL

Me too, loved her being proud of the £196 spending and Nick's "we'll see". Margaret was as bitchy as ever "a BIT too late".

Debra shoulda gone. Am I the only one who went "there was a ginger one?!" when they got to the boardroom?

Debra was awful I agree, but I was glad Alan chose Anita to go as she did royally f*** it up!

No you were not alone! I said she was 'this year's Jenny!' Silly tart!

Mind you ... the boys got on my nerves a bit. The way they laid into the project manager ... he told them to try and get away with just doing washes rather than interior valeting! And if it wasn't for his (and the guy with the beard's) shoe-shine side-line ... they'd have been £70 down and losers!

Backstabbers one and all! Or as Rosemary said in 'Rosemary's Baby' - All of them witches!!

No, same for me!

And there was an Irish guy who spoke for the first time really near the end, who I hadn't noticed until then either!

I'm pleased Debra stayed in - more friction in the episodes to come

I didn't like Howard one bit though

Debra definitely should have gone. But as she is such a great two faced backstabbing cow she makes great TV. Hence she survived. A brilliant 60 minutes of TV & I'm enjoying the BBC2 Spin off right now.

I just can't believe though the difference in the likeability of the candidates from the first (and some from the second) series to these latter ones. The last two series have just had truly 'orrible' people in them! I can't believe that in the first series I actually hated Saira at the beginning ... but loved her right at the end! And she, together with Paul, James and Tim have been the most memorable of the lot. I mean ... apart from Michelle and Ruth from series 2 and Lee (idiot) McQueen from the last series ... I can't remember anyone else!

You could say the same thing pretty much about Big Brother 1 - 4. The first four series bar the odd pantomine villians were decent people. But 5 - to date most wannabes are vile.

None of them are great as last year's fabulous contestant -

Dame Lindi Mngaza

No, In all seriousness I think the right person went. Debra is clearly an evil witch who should be destroyed but will properly be this year's Katie Hopkins and make it through to the final few week's.

OMG, Lindi was queen. A prom queen to be precise. What a FABULOUS piece of ass.
