None of them are great as last year's fabulous contestant -

Dame Lindi Mngaza

No, In all seriousness I think the right person went. Debra is clearly an evil witch who should be destroyed but will properly be this year's Katie Hopkins and make it through to the final few week's.

Well apart from looking like one of the Sugababes ... she was pretty much sh!te wasn't she?

She was, but she was one of my favourites, sometimes the clueless ones are the best which is why I would have liked the woman who left today to have stayed. But I suppose a bitchy one is a bit more entertaining than a useless one.

The show on BBC2 was miles more entertaining to watch I thought :heehee:
You're Fired! is such a cringeworthy, awkward show! So much dead air time and Adrian Chiles is properly 'argh!'. It's funny because it's so bad LOL.
Poor Anita definatly should not have been fired, it was like last year tbh where i was totally WTF when he fired Shazia. I wanted Debra gone, but i though it would be between and her and the lovely Mona.

Yup

I think both groups overthought it a bit tbh. If it was me, bucket of water and sponge, stand by the side of a road (or a busy parking lot in central London) and charge a fiver just to wash the car.

Was Shazia the one in charge of the 'laundry' task ... in which case .... I agree with you!

Yeap, thats the one.

Despite my love for Lucina, Shazia was the least worthy of being fired that week as prefrably Jenny should have gone which is the same this year as i now have a soft spot for Mona but i'd have rather she'd have gone rather than Anita.

This is really mean but i couldn't take Anita's face seriously :(. Lolling everytime i saw it.

:heehee: I know EXACTLY what you mean! Every time I saw her, I just kept thinking of a pug :(

But that's why I loved her, she was adorable!

Me too. :( She had a weird mouth and she constantly looked lost or confused. She was cute though.

Anita's troll face should have been reason enough for her to survive. As with last year's first firing, I think she was the least deserving to be fired, although we know that Sir Alan hates those who hide in the background...

Anita DID what she was asked, and I don't see why after she announced the costs. nobody else could have piped up that they'd spent too much.

Debra was horrifically two-faced, but so was Mona ("I feel sorry for Debra" / "You FAILED me.") But I get the feeling Debra could actually be quite capable once in charge properly...she has that confident air about her that Claire did last year.

Meanwhile Mona could make fantastic TV. She has the "I'm the queen" attitude of Lindi ("I expect my team to be obedient"), and I loved the way she sounded so utterly beaten in her final "yes sir Alan", almost like a 5 year old child on the verge of tears.

Although there was less cattiness, I'm not sure I liked the boys. That Phillip guy in particular seems an utter tosser. Moaning that he was being made a scapegoat for agreeing to do with the interiors of the cars...well...erm...YOU DID. AFTER specifically being asked not to.

I agree Anita shouldn't have been fired, but she was never going to win. I mean she cowered at the sheer site of Sir Alan! In the grand scheme of things the other two have a much better chance of winning. I can't remember their names but they were both bitches and back stabbers. OK one of them called two of her team puppets, but the leader was laughing and joking when she heard the comment.

At least it makes for better TV.

I don't really look on this anymore as a 'reality' show. It is clearly orchestrated, scripted, stage-managed and fixed from the word go. I do sometimes wonder if half the contestants aren't 'jobbing actors' too. They'll probably have the wrong winner this year too ... so it gets the correct reaction from a 'reality audience'. I mean ... did anyone take seriously Alan Sugar's revelation at the beginning that one of the blokes had dropped out? When surely in something like this they'd have had reserves anyway.

Plus ... we're asked to believe that these are some of the best business brains from around the country .... they can't be that great if their employers would let them go!

Still as Roons says 'it makes for better TV.'

Am I the only one who went "there was a ginger one?!" when they got to the boardroom?

she'll probably be a dark horse...if I recall correctly, Lucinda barely featured in the first couple of episodes last year...I remember Adrian Chiles describing her as the 'oddly dressed lady in a beret who follows everybody about'

anita was fired because she was the dullest... bereft of personality and a miserable looking sod too!

mona should have gone, SHE was in charge, it was HER responsibility and i didnt like her pleading... that wasnt very becoming.

debra is an evil bitch and will go along way, her attitude will make her a strong candidate to win..

Oh yeah, I think that's right actually. Hopefully we get to see more of her in the next few weeks instead of her fading in.

I disagree, he was right to fire one of the girls on 'the other team'. If they were capable of cleaning cars properly they would have got the other 10 cars and they may have won the task. They didn't try hard enough, I couldn't believe how useless they were. The same for the boys, how is leaving some yellow fluff on the interior acceptable for a paid job?

naahhh .... mona was in charge, if she didnt delegate properly or follow up 'the other team' then its her responsibility. she certainly wont win.

Well she probably wont win, he isnt usually a fan of the females and the one he did hire through this quickly left. I don't think it was down to Mona, they had the potential to win but the other girls did a useless job so they didn't get do to the other half of the deal. If they put more effort into doing the 4 cars they wouldn't even have been in the firing room, let alone squabbling over which 'side' made the more money.
